About Nothern Russian life
Gorodische is a microdistrict of the city of Krasavino, which is located on a hill. In general, all the hills of the city represent a very ancient bank of the Northern Dvina River. There have been no global changes in five years – the roads are still broken, the houses are still standing.
In this series, I will tell you about the city of Krasavino, Vologda region, where I spent my childhood. I haven't been here for five years and decided to take a look at how things have changed around. I'm starting with the usual route. That's how I used to get here to the bus station and then to my grandmother's house. It all starts with the bridge over the Lapinka River.
When posting the snowfall, I wanted to divide the images into urban life and nature. But the nature here is both urban and rural...that is, simply, trees. After all, it is the trees that are most affected by snowfall. The best places to shoot trees are their clusters, i.e. parks.
The day after the medium snowfall three times more snow fell! This is really a cataclysm, and it's really beautiful! I was very happy about this snowfall, almost laughing out loud.Nothing foreshadowed such a blizzard – yesterday's snow had almost completely disappeared by the end of the day.
Did I mention that the whole winter is like April? Did I mention that it snows all spring? April continues! Another snowfall, and a couple of days after the first thunderstorm! That's a swing!!!And I like everything, that's exactly what I need.
The first thunderstorm, a real one, with lightning and thunder, rain and rainbows, happened already at the end of April. Well, with such a warm spring, it's not surprising! It's a pity I didn't catch a heavy downpour, but I still got a little wet.
