River has taken to laying on this mini quilt when she feeds her babies now. Even just laying there and chillin' while the babies play hide and seek using my nightstand or king of the hill using my books. When they are not attacking eachother or their mother they will go to sleep in the nest. They have actually extended the nest area a little.
River seems to be enjoying the kittens at four weeks of age. She will walk over by the nest and call to the babies until they come running out. It is cute to see them run on there wobbly legs.
Kitty on the other hand seems to go to her babies to feed them then leaves them once they fall asleep. It seems like she spends more time away from them then she spends with them. Today she was moping around the house to the point I had to carry her outside. It was during this time I did the treatment with the babies.
Champs foot is looking great. Even though the vet said continue another week with the bandages, I may discontinue doing the bandage in two to three days depending on how his foot looks. It won't be too much longer before Kitty has her babies adventuring I hope. I would love to see how the two litters interact with eachother
It is kind of hard to get a good picture of Kitty and the babies behind the door.
