Thursday afternoon, our new tent arrived. Friday morning, @clareartista and I set out on a hike, out of the city and into the hills/mountains, to give our tent a test ride rest.We carried the thing with us, as well as some food and two bottles of/for drinking water and left home around 9 in the morning, to avoid having to walk during the hottest hours on what seemed to be (one of) the warmest day(s) of the year, so far.

Yesterday, late morning, I decided to go into one of the gardens below our house to chill and hopefully get creative. Minutes later, I arrived at a somewhat hidden garden wall that I once had a romantic moment on with @clareartista .

Today, before lunch, I sat down in an abandoned garden that Clare and I take care of. I rested my back against a stone wall, facing the mountain view that gives me daily peace as well as a longing to go out there ( as mentioned in yesterday's write up ). Away from the city, into the wild.

Yesterday, like the day before, I was drawing (parping) cats.What is going on in the world, both in plain sight and behind the scenes, is pretty grim. Creating (f)art and laughter helps. It's free medicine and actually healing.
