Hello on a Thursday,
Reporting from the comfort of my home, I'm diving into the creative process for a book project I’ve been commissioned to illustrate. Right now, I’m working on the storyboard, which is honestly the more straightforward part of the task. However, the real challenge lies ahead — designing the main character, a 6-year-old child. Capturing the essence of a young child in a way that feels both authentic and visually appealing is my area of expertise.
There are times when I truly wish I had access to Clip Studio Paint, especially for its 3D model feature, which makes it so much easier to design and position characters from different angles. That tool would be such a huge help right now. But, as always, I’ll figure it out. I know that no matter what, I’ll find a way to bring this character to life, even if it takes a bit more time and effort.
Title Busy head animation.
I finally managed to add the movements I envisioned for this piece, or at least some of them. Any more complex movements would have pushed this from a GIF into MP4 territory. On that note, every time I upload a GIF here, I always worry that it will display as a still image, which completely defeats the purpose of the animation.
Still trying to figure out where I want to start minting my collections. Transient Labs is calling my name, very innovative platform but I'm reminded of Async and how that went down literally. Life was easy when it was just KO, Opensea and MP to consider.
The past week(end) I was a part of the Visible Violets exhibition with a collection realised on Gamma here

.
I had submitted my art for the call on Hugz platform without really expecting to be selected but to my surprise I got contacted two week later that my art was selected. It was interesting to use Bitcoin chain. Learning to inscribe on the blockchain and the unique experience of ordinals with parents and children inscriptions and etc. I had earlier applied to gamma.io twice, to release prints. I never got any response so this was an opportunity to see what it's like.
This was my submission

Reduced to about 30kb to reduce inscribing fees. I spent about $25 for the entire exercise.
I hope you enjoy this little animation and I will be back soon to share more art.✌️✨
Take care!
