First question: Have you ever heard of Nusfjord? Does the name seem similar to you?If not, it definitely should make its way onto your itinerary after reading this blog—especially if you're planning a trip to the Lofoten Islands in Norway. Nusfjord is a tiny fishing village, considered one of the oldest settlements in the region. Archaeological findings suggest that people lived here as early as the 5th century.

Oslo is often called one of the greenest cities in the world, and I’ve had the chance to visit it twice. So, I’d like to share feedback on whether that title is truly deserved.One of the places that stood out to me in the city center was the Oslo Opera House. It’s built in this super modern and minimalistic style, and what’s cool is that it’s right by the fjord — like, you can sit on the steps and dangle your feet over the water, or you can walk up the roof. No ticket, no fuss.

Most tourists head straight to the Lofoten Islands, but in my opinion, Vesterålen shouldn't be skipped. It offers many epic hikes, beaches, and nature that feels just a bit different from other places.What's beautiful about the North is that it doesn’t matter if you come in summer or winter – you're guaranteed to witness sights that’ll blow your mind. It's true winter comes with less stable weather, and catching a glimpse of the sun during a 5-day stay can be a huge win.

In my previous post, I opened the door to my Arctic adventure in Northern Norway, where I’ve spent the winter season. That chapter is slowly coming to an end, and soon I’ll be making my way back to Central Europe.But before I leave, I’m taking some time to explore the breathtaking fjords that surround me. The beginning of this little trip couldn't have been more perfect—greeted by what was possibly the most beautiful sunset I've ever witnessed here north.

The Horn mountain is located west of Iceland, on the so-called Snæfellsnes Peninsula. This mountain fascinated me From the first drive from the airport to Grundarfjörður, where I worked. It truly looks just like its name suggests — like a Horn — and feels like a gateway to the Snæfellsnes region.
