What It Means To Be A Woman

What it means to be a woman. The maiden, the mother and the crone. She who brings forth life, into the world. She who has been silenced and oppressed. Woman, the powerful one, who's existence brings balance into the world. The feminine, the divine. The Goddess.
Yet, it is she who has been demonised, at the hands of (some) men because of the power she wields. She who has been silenced again and again, who has been forced to birth, lying down. Who has been put down over and over again. Woman, who has been forced to conform, to the ideas put forth by man. Who has been told, she is too much, too loud, too pushy, too opinionated. So she makes herself small, so that she does not offend.
Woman, who has been told to always be loving, to be gentle and kind. To please others and always put their wellbeing before her own. She who struggles to say no, for fear of rejection. Who carries the weight of the world on her shoulders.
Woman, who over time, lost her way. Got pulled into the materialistic world, as her role in society was downplayed. When being a mother, was not enough. Instead she must contribute in many other ways, if she is too feel any sense, of self worth.
To feel The pain That runs through the veins Of the earth. The silenced cries, That impacted This rhythm, The cracks that weave their way Into our subconscious. Beaten back, shadows That no longer knew how to dance, Voices, reduced to whispers. Our history Twisted, For fear of your power. Your persecution, Still held Within the fabric of our being, Still felt by those of us, Who remember. Our rich tapestry, Torched By those seeking control. The time Has come To take back Our words, The true meaning of spells. To walk Our way back, to reclaim our right to heal, To intuitively Feel. To arise as one, My sisters.
But the tables are turning and now she is rising.
Woman, who desires to reconnect to her natural state of being. Who can be both fierce and gentle, who can be angry and bring joy. Who embraces the polarities, as she is reborn. The empowered woman, who had found her voice and is making a stand.
Weave To Empower Weavers of Life, Weavers Of Knowledge, Creating our stories, Igniting our Bodies. Weave to awaken, the wisdom inside, Allowing our intuitive self to now guide. Weaving to feel, weaving to explore we are women who weave, to reveal more and more. weaving out of love, weaving with respect, weaving healing for all the hurt we have met, weaving power and strength, weaving light from within, weaving new creations weaving to begin, weaving from the earth, connecting from below, weaving our intentions, so that all, will be in flow.
