Good day dear mates! This sunday I and my second half had enought free time so we decided to cook something delicious for breakfast for us and kids. And at this time we choose to cook pancakes.
For it we took:
- 500 grams of kefir
- 2 eggs
- 0.5 teaspoon of baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4L of boiling water
- 2 cups flour (250 grams)
- 2-3 tablespoons of sugar
- 4 spoons of vegetable oil
In a deep bowl you need to start by beating the eggs. Pour in the salt and sugar.
Then you need to warm up a little kefir and pour it into the whipped eggs.
After that it is necessary to sift flour and add it to the existing mixture of sugar and kefir
Then, whisk the dough with a whisk to the state of thick sour cream.
The next step is to add half a teaspoon of baking soda to the boiling water and stir it well.
And then pour the resulting baking soda solution into the dough.
Next, you need to let the dough rest for 10 minutes. After this time, add the butter and mix well again.
And you can start frying the pancakes. Next, you need to let the dough rest for 10 minutes. After this time, add the butter and mix well again. And you can start frying the pancakes.
Then the magic begins! And we pour the prepared batter onto a well heated frying pan. And then there is only manual dexterity and no cheating!
And we get tender, thin, airy pancakes with a crispy edge.
As you can see, the amount of ingredients in this recipe let us to cook quite a lot of pancakes to feed all the family members. My second half and I made pancakes of different shapes so that the children would also be interested in eating pancakes.

In our family, we prefer to serve our pancakes with sour cream, jam, condensed milk or chocolate paste.

We also usually serve hot tea or milk with the pancakes, depending on the tastes of the family. What do you prefer to eat pancakes with?
