Silver cats!
I recently shared the
2021 Fiji 50 cents Cats 1oz silver coin here and already shared that I had another one from the series that I bought at the same time. Today I will share with you the 2022 version which I absolutely love but sadly the pictures can't be taken very well due to the foil not being placed on the cats side very nicely. I've seen the prices of these coins and I don't want to remove it and risk it getting worth less, who knows a collector might find it more valuable with the foil on it.. Not that I'm parting with this one anytime soon, but it's an investment for the future anyway so I will just take the picture as it is.
I am curious though, if you encounter a coin where the foil messes up the nice side of the coin, do you remove it or do you leave it there? Let me know in the comments..
Cute little kitten
The top picture has some more shine to the picture than the one below but either way, I think you can see it's a very cute kitten on this coin. If you love cats, you probably love this coin as much as I do.

It's nice to know that the price shown here is higher than I paid, I also saw them for higher prices on ebay and some other sites here in Europe. Makes me think it was a nice move to buy them, not just alone for the love of kittens!
I hope to add more cat coins in the future, I remember those from my wish list for twelve days of Christmas still but haven't seen any of these on marketplaces around here, sadly.
If anyone is going to buy from Intaglio mint when the cat theme coins are available (there's a waiting list now) please let me know if you're willing to buy one or two and send them to me.. Just keeping my options open here, lol.
I have no idea when they will be available btw, when I put them on my wishlist months ago, they also had the waiting list, maybe they need more interest.
