I had a great meeting with my friend at Miranda's Coffee Farm today. I've been planning to sell both brewed and packaged coffee at the Farmers Market and finally got an appointment today to purchase local organic Kau coffee.
A few days ago I was overwhelmed by a lot of things. Since I started doing the market, I haven't had the time or energy to do much else. There was yardwork and extra watering that needed done. My laundry was piling up because the used washer I bought wasn't running the water in and I needed help with loading and unloading and setting up the tables.
I had plans today to make a couple of jams and do some baking for Saturdays Market. However when I was watering my garden today, I noticed a lot of plants were blooming and so we're the weeds. I ran back to the cabin, grabbed my cellphone and started taking photos. Here are a few of my beautiful plants.
As most of you know, I'm a very busy lady, between taking care of the homestead, making products for the farmers market and creating posts for Hive, my time is limited. If you have posts you would like for me to consider for upvotes and reblogs, you are more than welcome to post them on my discord channel.
Yesterday was an amazing day. A close friend of mine held a Celebration of Life for her dearly beloved husband and best friend who passed away about a year ago. I hadn't seen her as she had a lot of healing to do. She invited me to participate and oh what a glorious reunion!
Not much to report today. It was cloudy and rainy all day, so I decided to make my Mango Pepper Jam with chili peppers.I was able to use my food processor to chop the peppers and mangosI didn't want to use up too much power, so I decided instead of sealing the jars in the pressure cooker, I do it the old fashioned way. Boiling in them them for 8 minutes in my jam pot.
