Just a quick update, @sbdpotato has been dubbed "The Little Engine that Could", it is still chugging away on Steem, purchasing SBD and converting it to STEEM in a "rinse-repeat" fashion to reduce the debt-ratio and hopefully helping to support the price of STEEM and SBD for all those still powering down to get their tokens out of the centralised blockchain Steem has become.

Today we had a landmark announcement of the Hive blockchain launch, a true win for the Steem community which has suffered centralisation and uncertainty for weeks since the #SteemHostileTakeOver by Justin Sun of Tron.I am writing this post to tell you my thoughts and allegiances regarding Steem and Hive.

Each day the Steem community is taking back an inch to regain control of the Top20 consensus witness positions recently taken over by Tron with the help of exchanges voting with their customer funds without customer consent to do so. While Huobi and Binance have withdrawn their votes, Poloniex continues to vote and so does the Steemit stake which has broken its social contract to never be used to vote to manipulate community governance.
