Every day there seems to be a little more work done on the house. Today was no exception. I've been in the Philippines almost two months and my time is drawing short. Today I started packing so I can go to Manila and meet up with my wife.
As for what I did? Not much. Pumped water so they could make concrete for the tiles but mostly I slept in after spending the night at the resort so it wasn't a busy day. Barely got my 5k steps
But I do have one more picture to share which was sad, happy then very sad.
Now when I saw this the cow looked so wrong that I had to take a picture. I thought the core was dead... Which would be sad.
Then I found out they wrestled the core to the ground to help the calf to nurse. Because of the high heat the mother gave birth prematurely. The calf was weak and they wanted to make sure it got a chance to nurse. Mom and baby together... Happy.
However the calf was born too early. It couldn't stand on its own and was too weak to stand or nurse... So it died after one short day... Very sad
Sorry it's not much to post.
But that was my day.
