We've been together for twenty-seven years now, and every celebration, no matter how small, has great meaning for us. Even though my mind was wandering between work and preparations for the cake, I didn't stop appreciating the scenery on my way to the hotel. I love observing the subtle changes in nature and the rhythm of the city. There is something special about those moments of contemplation that connect us with our surroundings and fill us with energy to continue with our daily tasks.

For me, it will be a particularly busy week, as in addition to work responsibilities that cannot be stopped, this month is loaded with family celebrations. June is a special month at home, as we celebrate the birthdays of my husband, my father and my son. In addition, Father's Day is coming up, which means more preparations, get-togethers and, of course, lots of joy. The first birthday we will celebrate will be my husband's, on the third of this month. For that reason, today I had to leave the house to look for some ingredients needed to prepare the cake and some sweets that I know he loves. Before I went shopping, we decided to spend the morning doing a particular activity, planting lilies at home. It was a team effort, where everyone contributed their efforts to make everything perfect. My son passed the rake and opened the holes in the ground, while my husband was in charge of filling them with water, making sure the soil was well prepared.

This weekend was calm, although my husband had to work and I was left with the task of picking him up when he finished. Around noon, I went to pick him up so we could spend some quality time together by the sea. Our son had plans with his friends, so taking advantage of the fact that we would be alone for a few hours, we planned our lunch together.

It's been two months since I last wrote to you, and that's because something important happened to one of them, little Solo. He no longer lives with us; he's now living closer to the sea. However, what really matters is that he is healthy and happy, and that gives us peace of mind. Today I want to tell you about Coki and Frida, who have filled our days with joy and mischief. This week it was time for their routine deworming. With Frida, it's always a challenge, as she's very sensitive when it comes to injections, not to mention pills... She doesn't swallow them easily, so we have to find ways to mask them in something appetizing. But it's not impossible; with patience and love, we manage to make her treatment less stressful for her.
