You bring up so many areas in live around the globe where there is so much discord. I think it has always been this way, howbeit different throughout every generation or decade. It all comes down to each individual battling themselves, trying to discover the light that resides within them. Living in a dualistic reality of opposite polarities, one has to allow others to have opinions opposite of theirs if there is ever going to be peace, both in the world and in the individual. I don't know if this makes sense, but I believe we are transitioning into a new era of enlightenment. It may take some time, but I already see it happening all around me. People are changing from within, and it is being reflected in the outside world. Something has to crumble before something can rise again from the ashes. That is the cycle, whether we like it or not.
