Upcoming WOO updates

Hopeyou are enjoying the great weather as much as I am? Anyway, that's not the topic of today. Lately I checked out the
roadmap of WOO. When we look at Q2, there are several items mentioned like Wrestlecon which was definitely a big one, but there's one in particular which I look forward to: Implementing seasons in the WOO game. As you probably already know by now, I am quite deeply invested in WOO. There are several reasons for doing so, but the main reason is I can help retired wrestlers, while playing a web3 game. Isn't that beautiful?
About the seasons, I don't think much is being said about these lately, maybe if I ping
@bookerman or
@bookerman , he'll elaborate a bit though. When I read seasons and rankings, I ofcourse expect some extra form of rewarding. Really curious how it would work out!
For those of you who are unaware, WOO is writing a DHF proposal as well to organise a wrestling event if I recall correctly. It's not mentioned in the roadmap, so it would be a sweet extra for this quarter.
As you can see, a lot is going on in the WOOniverse!
What is WOO?
WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They are bringing back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The game launched in 2024. It's an autobattler in the theme of wrestling. There are 3 undercard events and 1 main event. Winning an undercard event gives you 1 point and winning the main event gives you 2 points, so 5 points are what we're fighting for. There are wrestler NFT's and manager NFT's which gives bonuses to the wrestlers. When you win a game, you'll earn $WOO, the governance token of WOO, making it a real #play2earn game!
