There are many reason that people may hate living in rural part. But at the same time there are reason that living in those backward part may prove to be a happy place. I have been enjoying a peaceful life in recent years living outside the city chaos. But as I temporary shifted to the city I found out the huge difference. The most importsnt being the cost of living. In hardly a matter of 100 km the cost of living is doubled than what I used to spend in my rural home.
(own edited image)As I went to market today to fetch some vegetable for my city's kitchen, I was shocked to learn the prices of few of the items. It was only yesterday that I bought grocery and vegetable for my rural home. And compairing the prices the city cost is far more than what I used to spend in rural home. Just to quote some prices, yesterday, in mu rural home
I bought Tomotoes for Rs.10/kg, Potatoes @ Rs.15/kg, Cucumber @ Rs.20/kg, Banana @ Rs.40 . These prices were reasonable, but as soon as I reached in City and went to the market, the prices has changed same item costs me Tomotoes for Rs.20/kg, Potatoes @ Rs.25/kg, Cucumber @ Rs.30/kg, Banana @ Rs.80. Although the items were same, the city cost of living has just made a sky rocket change and that too when the distance between my rural home and city home is merely 87km.
After compairing both the prices I works simply prefer to stay in rural areas, where thr availability if certain item are at ease and fresh. Owning to agricultural area most of the produces were sold by local grower and hence they do not need to bear any additional cost. They can easily visit the local home and sell their stuff. Infact all these items were delivered to my home, rather than I need to visit the market. The availability of the item were quite fresh as direct from the farm, so we get fresh products at a reasonable prices. Rural areas often have a greater emphasis on local food production, which reduces the need for long-distance transportation and associated costs.
The demand for food in rural areas is generally lower than in cities, which can lead to lower prices. Rural areas often have a reduced reliance on complex and expensive urban distribution networks, which can contribute to lower food prices. However, at the same time, rural.plaxe does not have all tye amenities that is required for a standard living. The schools, the health services are not available to take care of other basic needs in life. This is is what make people to move to place where all the facilities are easily available. Even they have to spend a little more than are happy that other basic things of life ate easily availavle and they do not need to run pillar to post for its fulfilment.
Having been in both the situation, I do belive the comfort of own home in rural areas is not available in cities, yet there are things and services which are not available in rural. So we are compensating one things to another for the sake of happy life.
In Good faith - Peace!!
