Starting my outdoor Cannabis grow for the year

The weather is looking pretty stable at this point when it comes to cool mornings. I think we are in the clear now and good to plant my cannabis plants. Just a week ago it dipped into the 30s, so I have been patiently waiting to transplant what I have into the ground. But with the forecast saying we will only dip into the 50s now I think we are in good shape to go ahead and move these plants outside.
I got a few other plants to put in the ground as well.. some California Wild Grapes, Marjoram and some Honeyberry plants. But I will be focusing on the Cannabis plants in this post.
Unfortunately many seeds I started did not germinate. So I am stuck growing a random assortment of seeds for this outdoor grow. Also due to this I am running behind, was hoping to have bigger plants.. but hopefully these little ones will survive and start growing big soon.
They have been growing under my LED light for a few weeks now and are putting out their leaves.. Figured its good enough for them to go outside. One has been in the grow tent while the others I start in smaller pots in the grow room.
A couple got kind of leggy but hopefully they will still do good.
These seedlings are only a couple weeks old now, but seem like they are growing strong.
I prep the holes I used last year, they have sunk down a little bit from compaction so I brought some more dirt along to get the holes ready for the cannabis plants. Using Foxfarm Ocean forest soil, really liked my experience with it in my last grow.. Hopefully its not too strong for the seedlings.
Dug them out a little bit and think its good enough, that soil is still pretty lose and I think the cannabis plants will get big and strong enough push through it eventually.
The ones in the little pots were really easy to deal with, but I am saving the hardest for last.. the big 7 gallon smart pot.
I start planting the seedlings.. carefully not to disturb the roots too much.
Most of them came out pretty easily and seemed not to go into shock.
Finally I work with the oldest of the plants, its time to get it out and into the ground. It is an autoflower so I expect it to be a bit fussy from what I have heard.. It is already producing pre-flowers, so it is in a delicate state.
Well that was the plan into I got to this one.. When I started removing the plant the roots ran deeper than the scoop I got. Hopefully did not hurt it too much.
Looks sad at the moment, but I hope in a day or two it will perk back up. We shall see, otherwise I will need to start some replacement seeds for any that do not make it. Its okay.. its still early in the season, though my plans to grow two autos in one season may not happen due to my late start this year.. Maybe next year I can pull it off. But there is still hope this one auto will finish early and I can start another before the season gets too far along.
