Rediscovering my photographic memories

Since I started posting regularly on Hive again—and this is part of my plan to stay consistent in 2025— I hadn’t yet shared anything new in this community, where I used to be so active in the past.
Since it’s been a while since my last post, I have no shortage of new photos to share here, because if there’s one thing I never stop doing, it’s photographing and looking at everything around me with attentive eyes. I wouldn’t be exaggerating if I said that, many times, this is what keeps me alive: the ability to see the beauty along the way and capture it. Every time I revisit these images, I feel like I’m traveling through time, often losing track of it completely, as I can spend hours immersed in my folders.
Today, I’m sharing some photos I recently rediscovered—ones that bring back good memories.

Most of these photos were taken in places that left a deep mark on my life, such as my former homes in a rural area or other houses where I experienced so much. Among the elements that stood out the most to me were the flowers—more specifically, a rose bush and a large tree with pink blossoms in my backyard.
I have so many images of pink flowers in my hard drives that I could basically spend the rest of my life posting only that.
For these images, I basically chose a similar editing style, giving them an analog camera look, with noise and grain. Even though all of them were taken with the cameras of my now-extinct phones—which weren’t even that great, to be honest.
The power of capturing moments…
