Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all!
I hope you are spending a nice weekend! Here a pale sun is shining on the sky and it's warm enough to enjoy the time out of home. I just finished to clean my backyard and so I can sit in relax in front of my laptop to share with you an exercise I painted yesterday on my small sketchbook.
This time I made this one just to relax my mind and my hands, not to fix an idea fron one of my next paintings. Even if it was simple and fast, the final result makes me think something quiet and this is good. ❤️
As you can see, the subject is a simple and delicate flowers wreath. As we use to say, sometimes "less is more" and I wanted to represent how some simple flowers and leaves can give us an awsome thing to watch.
It's an oil painting on around 150 gsm paper (a page of my sketchbook) and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted this simple wreath so you can see the process too:
