Here we celebrate this month of October as festival month. We celebrate all our Hindu religious events with joy throughout the month of October.

Hello friends good morning everyone. how are you all? After long days of rain, the sudden appearance of the sun is quite nice. A low pressure cyclone formed over the Bay of Bengal which resulted in heavy rainfall in the low pressure. The low pressure that caused the deficit rainfall at the beginning of the monsoon has made up for much of the deficit. Few days of heavy rain due to low pressure has flooded some parts of the city but this rain has benefited the farmers a lot in terms of cultivation. During the weekend I came to my village house due to rain and I had to go under house arrest for a while. I Spent several moments of these rainy days in this small garden created in my house. I feel very relaxed when I spend some time here on weekends. Two months ago when I planted the small seedlings in the nursery they were very small but now in these two months they have become very beautiful with a lot of care and are much more impressive in the garden.I have shared with you the pictures of some of these plants that I have taken care of. Hello friends, I am going to introduce you to a new member of my family. This tia bird has been a member of my household for eight long years. This tia bird of mine was rescued by my nephew 8 years ago from a forest nest. When my nephew took admission in law college and went to hostel, did he take this tiya bird with him because he is very fond of animals and birds.But due to some hostel restrictions, he couldn't keep this tia bird himself as it screamed a lot to be an unfamiliar place. At that time, my nephew decided to give the tia bird to me because I am an animal lover since childhood like him. Since then this Tia bird has been a member of my household. Basically tia birds eat chickpeas but since childhood my tia bird is used to eating sunflower seeds and that is its main diet.

Send thy angry storm, dark with death, if it is thy wish, and with lashes of lightning startle the sky from end to end. According to the Bengali calendar, these two month, Ashadha and Shravan, are considered as rainy months, but the amount of rainfall is not much in the month of Ashadha, but in the month of Shravan, it is raining in several places.The Shravan Mela has already started. The month of Shravan is considered a very holy month according to the Hindu calendar as during this month devotees offer water on the head of Lord Mahadev and travel to pilgrimage sites like Tarekeswar and Baidyanath Dham.This religious event is held throughout the month of Shravana.All devotees take vegetarian food during this month of Shravana.In the holy month of Shravana, lakhs of devotees within the state and also from the neighbouring states, visit Tarakeshwar Shiva temple to offer holy Ganges water to lord Shiva, seeking the divine blessing. Nearly 30 lakh devotees visit the Shiva temple at Tarakeswar during the month.Due to work schedule I could not attend Shravan Mela but many of my friends attended Shravan Mela and they enjoyed the festival very much.
