Every morning, I wake up, and this is the moment for my non-negotiable routine (I must admit that if, for some reason, I can't do it in the morning, I make sure to do it in the afternoon). Since the #hivearoundtheworld challenge on its third day suggests sharing a daily routine, I feel this is my most meaningful one.

For a while now, I've been carrying two (well, actually three) things with me everywhere I go. My fan—essential for dealing with the heat of living in the Caribbean, plus the joys of menopause (the combo is quite the experience 😉).

I have a dull head, and sometimes I don't know what to say. Especially if I haven't drunk my coffee. But I'll try to spin my thoughts to reflect on the rubbish. Yes, about rubbish. Sometimes I feel that one day the rubbish will swallow us up, and it scares me. It scares me that we are not smart enough to deal with that amount of objects that we use one day and the next day it will be accumulating uselessly for decades, in a place full of other objects like it.

I was thinking about all the things we do to try for a little happiness, and that's where my vision board idea for 2025 comes from. Sometimes I think I have too many dreams, and sometimes I punish myself for being too immersed in reality, or that reality crushes me with its sincerity and doesn't give me the time or the resources to carry my dreams forward.
