Letting life lead me wherever...and I enjoy cryptocurrencies, art, cryptids, and anything else aside from work

n the shadowed hollows of the Driftless, where ancient bluffs cast eternal darkness, entities from the Shrouded Expanse manifest throughout the turning year, their numbers swelling as All Hallows' Eve approaches. Like smoke through gossamer curtains, they seep into our reality, their forms as varied as the cosmic horror they represent.
I've been absent from Hive for a bit because I've been obsessed with creating a story narration channel of late. The channel features images and stories from High Strangeness...my favorite type of story. With the power AI tools, I thought I'd give a go...no luck on success, yet, but it's been fun to work on. All those stories from Keel, Vallee, even some of those old UFO occupant stories...so many interesting ideas to expound on.
I ventured back into the darkness last week to a) look for the foundry ghosts and b) get some more photos of shadows on the ground. The foundry is built on an ancient, sacred Native American area tucked alongside the Mississippi River. Like most buildings in this now industrial park, lots of buildings have stories in this part of Minnesota. Maybe I'll eventually capture a foundry phantom with my Pixel 8 Pro camera?
Spring is finally getting here... despite all the rain, the wildflowers have yet to spring. Sure, the dandelions and creeping charlie are everywhere, but the prairie wildflowers have yet to burst to life. Maybe next week? Fortunately, I'll likely a) be alive and there b) have my Pixel 8 Pro camera with me again to snag a photo.
Beneath blue skies and wispy clouds. When one hikes up the bluff, you occasionally get a moment that stands out. Such as this one. And with some luck, I managed to bring my phone with me to catch this moment. I took this one with my Pixel 8 Pro camera again.
Above the valley...and that would be another view of the Mississippi River valley. I took this photo on another morning hike on top of the nearby bluffs above. It might have been overexposed a bit, but the greens really stood out that day. I took this with my Google Pixel 8 Pro camera.
