Pumpkin cake coconut milk sauce is a traditional cake in my area, usually this cake is often made at wedding parties, or other events, it is not uncommon for people in my area to make this dish to be enjoyed by their guests, and yesterday I made this cake to prepare for a social gathering at my house.
This cake made from pumpkin and glutinous rice flour is very suitable to be served at every event at home, because besides being easy to make, it also tastes very good,
I don't know for sure the name of this cake, I just call it pumpkin cake with coconut milk sauce, from the shape of the cake which is like a pumpkin, which has a green stem, making this cake even more beautiful when seen, plus the pouring of coconut milk sauce which is very tasty, who would have thought that a cake with this simple recipe could be a target when there is a party
I often eat this cake at events, but this is the first time I've made it at home. With the recipe my mother gave me, I'm going to make this simple dish.

200 grams of pumpkin
8 tablespoons of glutinous rice flour
3 tablespoons of tapioca flour
2 tablespoons of granulated sugar

first, as usual, I started cutting the pumpkin thinly so that it would soften quickly when steamed, then I steamed the pumpkin for 15 minutes, after the pumpkin was soft, I mashed the pumpkin until smooth

then I added sticky rice flour, tapioca flour, granulated sugar and salt, I kneaded it until it was smooth, until it became a dough that could be shaped, next I took a little of the dough to add green coloring, this is to make the pumpkin stem

Then I took a little dough and shaped it into a ball, then I took a toothpick and made lines in the shape of a pumpkin, then I took green dough to make the pumpkin stem, then I steamed it for 20 minutes, until the cake was perfectly cooked.

After the cake is cooked, next I will cook the coconut milk sauce, I start pouring the coconut milk into the pan, then turn on the komfor, and I also start adding the meizena flour mixture and granulated sugar, I cook until it thickens, after it thickens I turn off the komfor, then I pour the coconut milk sauce into the pumpkin cake
RESULTS
Pumpkin cake with coconut milk sauce is ready to be served, I immediately enjoyed it while the sauce was still warm, it is also delicious enjoyed with cold sauce,
