Kolak biji salak is a sweet dessert



Kolak biji salak made from sweet potatoes and cooked with coconut milk sauce with a little cornstarch to thicken the sauce, this is our family's favorite dish at home.
Curious about the recipe, okay I will make this kolak biji salak recipe with my own recipe, which is very easy to make at home.

Materials used



2 sweet potatoes 1 package of coconut milk 4 tablespoons tapioca flour 2 tablespoons cornstarch 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 1 teaspoon salt

Cooking procedure

*** Peel the sweet potato skin, then cut the sweet potato into small pieces and steam the sweet potato until soft.

*** Mash the sweet potatoes, then add tapioca flour, salt and sugar, knead until it can be formed into small balls.

Continue cooking the coconut milk sauce, add 1 packet of instant coconut milk, granulated sugar, water, finally add the cornstarch solution, cook until it thickens and boils.

This is the result, my friends, but I think the result is not very satisfying, my friends, because the coconut milk splits, maybe when I cooked the coconut milk sauce I didn't stir it, the coconut milk should always be stirred until it is cooked, but what can I do, I think instant coconut milk doesn't need to be stirred, but it's the same, hehehe..
Regarding the taste, it is delicious and sweet, it is cooked just right, the salak seeds are also very soft and delicious, the coconut milk is also very sweet and savory.
The coconut milk is also not enough, it should be two packets of coconut milk to make it just right, because the coconut milk is not thick enough, but I think that's enough because my mother doesn't really like a lot of coconut milk, so I only used 1 packet of instant coconut milk, if you like more coconut milk, you can use 2 packets of instant coconut milk
