Time for us [Esp/Eng]

After our kids were born the time my husband and I spent alone together was quite limited because the kids were always around us, but if you have been through my blog or my husband's, you will have noticed that our kids are not so kids 🤣

Miranda is already 12 and Matías 15, and although until recently they didn't want to leave us, now that they are in their teens, leaving the house gives them "laziness " and they prefer to stay watching TV or playing with the cell phone (more this, than the other), and all this has left José and me a little more freedom to share time just the two of us, something that the truth is super important, because the children will inevitably make their lives and in the end we will be just him and me, so we have to work on that relationship.

Anyway, thanks to the fact that my little @elmundodemiri is totally reluctant to wait three hours while Matias is at his chess practice, and prefers to stay with her grandma at home, Jose and I take advantage of that time, either to enjoy a dessert together, take a walk near the mall where Mati goes to his practice or just sit and play Scrabble which is something we enjoy a lot, and these pictures are from the last time we went and I had forgotten to share.

As you can see in some of the pictures, there are sweet treats involved, which makes this time together more than perfect: good company, something tasty to "nibble " and a little bit of healthy competition. What could go wrong?

I might end up being upset because José beats me at Scrabble (it doesn't happen much, but it does 🤣), but without a doubt I'm loving and enjoying a lot these little moments to share outside the house and get out of the routine.

Después que nacieron nuestros hijos el tiempo que pasamos a solas mi esposo y yo era bastante limitado porque los niños siempre estban a nuestro alrededor, pero si han pasado por mi blog o el de mi esposo, se habrán dado cuenta que nuestros niños no son tan niños 🤣

Miranda ya tiene 12 y Matías 15, y aunque hasta hace poco no se nos querían despegar, ahora que están en la adolescencia, salir de casa les da "flojera" y prefieren quedarse viendo tele o jugando con el celular (más esto, que lo otro), y todo esto nos ha dejado a José y a mí un poco más de libertad para compartir tiempo solo nosotros dos, cosa que la verdad es súper importante, porque los hijos inevitablemente harán su vida y al final estaremos solo el y yo, así que toca trabajar en esa relación.

En fin, que gracias a que mi pequeña @elmundodemiri está totalmente negada a esperar tres horas mientras Matías está en sus prácticas de ajedrez, y prefiere quedarse con su abuelita en casa, José y yo aprovechamos ese tiempo, ya sea para disfrutar de un postre juntos, dar un paseo cerca del centro comercial donde Mati va a sus prácticas o simplemente sentarnos a jugar Scrabble que es algo que disfrutamos bastante, y estas fotitos son de la última vez que fuimos y que había olvidado compartir.

Como ven en algunas fotos, hay dulcitos de por medio, lo que hace que ese tiempo juntos sea más que perfecto: buena compañía, algo rico para "picar" y un poquito de sana competencia. ¿Qué podría salir mal?

Que termine picada porque José me gane en el Scrabble (no pasa mucho, pero pasa 🤣), pero sin dudas estoy amando y disfrutando un montón estos pequeños momentos parq compartir fuera de casa y salir de la rutina.
