Hoy amanecí con ganitas de despejar la mente, así que luego de atender la mini granja (les debo ese cuento), busque mis materiales de bisutería y me dediqué a elaborar unos zarcillos que vi hace un tiempo en pinterest y me gustaron muchísimo, pero hasta ahora no me había dispuesto a hacerlos.
Hello, have a lovely day, everyone! I woke up this morning feeling like I needed to clear my head, so after tending to the mini farm (I owe you that story), I dug out my jewellery-making supplies and set about making some earrings I’d spotted on Pinterest a while back and really liked, but hadn’t got round to making until now.
Se trata de una aretes muy particulares ya que tienen un colgante que viene de la parte de atrás del zarcillo, es decir, del cerrador, y de este estilo vi muchos modelos que me parecieron preciosos y sobre todo originales, y por aquí les comparto este diseño que me parece luce muy bonito, y que espero les guste y les sirva de inspiración.
Yo decidí trabajar con perlas, balines y cadena, ya que tengo varios brazaletes de este estilo, así que para hacer el set decidí utilizar estos materiales, y ahora sin más vamos con el paso a paso.
These are quite unique earrings as they feature a pendant that hangs from the back of the earring hook – that is, from the clasp. I’ve seen many designs of this style that I found absolutely lovely and, above all, original, and here I’m sharing this design with you, which I think looks really pretty. I hope you like it and find it inspiring.
I decided to work with pearls, beads and chain, as I have several bracelets in this style, so to make the set I chose to use these materials. And now, without further ado, let’s get started with the step-by-step guide.

Paso a paso/Step by step
Para la elaboración de estos zarcillos vamos a realizar 2 piezas diferentes, la primera que vamos a elaborar estará unbicada en la parte delantera de nuestro arete y va a estar formada por una perla mediana y 2 aritos tapa cuentas.
Para elaborarla vamos a utilizar un alfiler de ojo, 2 aritos tapa cuentas y una perla mediana, y lo que haremos es hacer pasar por el alfiler de ojo un arito, seguido de la perla y luego otro arito. Finalmente cortamos el excedente del alfiler de ojo, dejando poco menos de 1cm y cerramos colocando la pinza redonda en la punta del alfiler, doblamos hacia adentro sobre sí misma y de esta forma creamos el arito que es necesario para conectar luego las otras piezas que forman el zarcillo.
De esta pieza vamos a crear dos, una para cada zarcillo.
To make these earrings, we’re going to create two different parts. The first part will be positioned at the front of the earring and will consist of a medium-sized pearl and two bead-capping rings.
To make it, we will use an eye pin, two bead-capping rings and a medium-sized pearl. We will thread one bead-capping ring onto the eye pin, followed by the pearl and then another bead-capping ring. Finally, we cut off the excess wire from the eye pin, leaving just under 1 cm, and close it by placing the round crimp bead on the tip of the pin, bending it inwards onto itself; this creates the loop needed to connect the other parts that make up the earring.
We’ll make two of these pieces, one for each earring.
La segunda pieza que vamos a elaborar es la que va a ir en la parte de atrás de nuestro zarcillo, específicamente en el cerrador, y para ella vamos a utilizar 3 balines mini y un alfiler de ojo, y el procedimiento es del mismo que realizamos anteriormente, es decir, hacemos pasar los balines por el alfiler de ojo y cortamos el excedente, dejando en este caso 1 centímetro, ya que necesitamos un arito un poquito más grande.
Cortamos con la tenaza y cerramos de la misma manera que lo hicimos anteriormente, y de esta pieza también vemos a crear dos.
The second piece we’re going to make is the one that will go on the back of our earring, specifically on the clasp, and for this we’re going to use three mini beads and an eye pin, and the procedure is the same as before: we thread the beads onto the eye pin and cut off the excess, leaving 1 centimetre in this case, as we need a slightly larger loop.
We cut with the pliers and close it in the same way as before, and we’ll also make two of these pieces.
El siguiente paso es cortar dos piezas de cadena, que en mi caso las corté de cuatro centímetros cada una, y como ven utilicé una cadena bastante finita, y ya con todas nuestras piezas listas, vamos a proceder al armado de nuestros aretes.
The next step is to cut two pieces of chain – in my case, I cut them to four centimetres each – and, as you can see, I used a fairly thin chain. Now that all our pieces are ready, we’ll move on to assembling our earrings.
We repeat the process to create both sides of the bracelet.
Lo primero que vamos a hacer es conectar las dos piezas que creamos en cada extremo de la cadena, así que lo que hacemos es abrir uno de los extremos de nuestra pieza con la perla, hacemos pasar la cadena y cerramos.
Una vez colocamos la primera pieza vamos por la segunda, que es la que cuenta con los tres balines, y una vez conectadas repetimos el procedimiento con la otra cadena.
The first thing we’re going to do is connect the two pieces we’ve made to each end of the chain, so what we do is open one end of our piece with the bead, thread the chain through and close it.
Once we’ve attached the first piece, we move on to the second one, which has the three beads, and once they’re connected, we repeat the process with the other chain.
En este punto el siguiente paso es conectar esta cadena tanto al pin como al cerrador de nuestro arete, y lo primero que vamos a hacer es conectar la pieza que va unida al pin, y esta es la de la perla y para esto abrimos con la pinza redonda el extremo de la pieza de la perla y conectamos al pin.
Seguidamente vamos a tomar el cerrador y abrimos el extremo disponible de la pieza de balines y lo hacemos pasar por uno de los extremos de la tapa de seguridad del zarcillo, cerramos y tenemos listos nuestros aretes.
At this point, the next step is to attach this chain to both the pin and the clasp of our earring. First, we’ll attach the part that connects to the pin – this is the pearl component. To do this, we use round-nose pliers to open the end of the pearl component and attach it to the pin.
Next, we’ll take the clasp and open the free end of the ball chain piece, then thread it through one end of the safety cap on the earring post. We close it, and our earrings are ready.
Como ven, es un trabajo muy sencillo, rápido de hacer y con un resultado precioso, muy original y llamativo. Hasta ahora uno de mis favoritos.
As you can see, it’s a very simple project, quick to make, and the result is beautiful, very original and eye-catching. It’s one of my favourites so far.
