Para hoy les quiero compartir unos aretes largos en forma de triángulo que me gustaron bastante y que fueron el resultado de un buen rato de ensayo y error buscando que se vieran lo más lindo posible, y finalmente de probar de diferentes maneras quedé con forme con el resultado y lo quise compartir con ustedes.

Hello, Hive community! Today I’d like to share with you some long, triangle-shaped earrings that I really liked. They were the result of quite a bit of trial and error as I tried to make them look as pretty as possible, and after experimenting with different approaches, I was finally happy with the result and wanted to share it with you.

Son unos aretes elaborados con perlas y balines con una forma bien interesante, y que para mí tienen una apariencia única, y aunque no soy fan de los zarcillos largos estos me gustaron mucho, y sin más demora vamos con el paso a paso.

These are earrings made from pearls and beads in a really interesting shape, and to me they look quite unique. Although I’m not usually a fan of long earrings, I really liked these, so without further ado, let’s get straight to the step-by-step guide.

Paso a paso/Step by step

Para estos aretes vamos a elaborar solo dos piezas, la principal que será nuestro colgante y la segunda que será la base donde lo conectamos, y para la primera pieza vamos a necesitar 4 Alfileres de ojo y dos perlas medianas.

Lo primero que haremos será cortar los alfileres del mismo largo, y esto es a su elección, lo que sí es importante es que antes de cortar tomen en cuenta que debemos crear un "ojito en el otro extremo".

For these earrings, we’re going to make just two pieces: the main piece, which will be our pendant, and the second piece, which will be the base to which we attach it. For the first piece, we’ll need four eye pins and two medium-sized beads.

The first thing we’ll do is cut the pins to the same length; you can choose the length yourself, but it’s important to bear in mind before cutting that we need to create a “little eye at the other end”.

Una vez los hayamos cortado creamos el arito con ayuda de la pinza redonda colocándola justo en la punta del alfiler girando sobre sí misma, y al hacer esto debemos ser muy cuidadosos y asegurarnos que ambos ojitos estén en la misma dirección.

De esta pieza vamos a crear tres.

Once we have cut them out, we create the loop using the round-nose pliers, placing them right at the tip of the pin and twisting them round. When doing this, we must be very careful to ensure that both loops are facing the same way.

We are going to make three of these pieces.

Seguidamente tomamos un alfiler de ojo y lo hacemos pasar por uno de los ojitos de los que ya acabamos de preparar, y hacemos pasar él una perla mediana y luego otro alfiler de ojo.

Next, take an eye pin and thread it through one of the small eyes we’ve just prepared, then thread a medium-sized bead onto it, followed by another eye pin.

Repetimos el proceso, y para cerrar nuestro triángulo de perlas, cortamos el excente del alfiler de ojo y cerramos creando un arito como les indiqué más arriba.

We repeat the process, and to close our triangle of beads, we cut off the excess from the eye pin and close it to form a small ring, as I explained above.

El siguiente paso es conectar los ojitos superiores a una argolla pequeña y lo hacemos abriendo un poco la argolla y dejando pasar cada alfiler y seguidamente volvemos a cerrar la argolla, para de esta forma tener lista la pieza principal de nuestro zarcillo, y por supuesto de esta pieza vamos a crear dos.

The next step is to attach the upper eyes to a small ring. To do this, open the ring slightly, thread each pin through, and then close the ring again. This completes the main part of our earring, and of course we’ll be making two of these.

El siguiente paso es crear la pieza en la que irá conectado nuestro triángulo de perlas, y para ello necesitamos un alfiler, una perla pequeña y un balín mini, y lo que haremos es pasar por el alfiler el balín, seguido de la perla, cortamos el excedente del alfiler y cerramos creando un ojito, que al igual que en los anteriores debe tener el arito en la misma dirección.

De esta pieza vamos a crear dos.

The next step is to create the component to which our triangle of beads will be attached. To do this, we need a pin, a small bead and a mini bead. We thread the mini bead onto the pin, followed by the small bead, then cut off the excess pin and close it to form a small loop, which, just like the previous ones, must have the loop facing in the same direction.

We are going to make two of these pieces.

Listas las dos piezas es hora de armar los aretes y lo que hacemos es conectar el pin con la pieza de la perla, así que abrimos un poco el extremo donde se encuentra el balín para pasarlo por el orificio del pin, y cerramos.

Now that both parts are ready, it’s time to assemble the earrings. To do this, we attach the pin to the pearl part: we open the end where the ball is slightly to thread it through the hole in the pin, and then close it.

El siguiente paso es abrir el ojito inferior para conectarlo con la argolla del triángulo de de perlas, y de esta forma tenemos listos nuestros aretes súper originales.

The next step is to open the small lower loop to attach it to the ring on the pearl triangle, and with that, our super-original earrings are ready.

Como pueden ver no tienen mayores complicaciones, de hecho es básicamente lo que hemos venido haciendo, así que anímense a experimentar en casa.

As you can see, there’s nothing too complicated about it; in fact, it’s basically what we’ve been doing all along, so why not give it a go at home?
