I was gonna sit out Conclave Arcana altogether but I had some liquids sitting around so I decided to spunk some SPS on a few Alchemy packs...
Only 20 Alchemy packs in total, but it's something...
The presale did pretty well I guess with 2.5BN DEC so that's a cool $2.5 MN, which sounds healthy!
Given everything that SL has given to me over the last few years it just seemed rude to not buy a few and the thing is... I will PROBABLY make my money back on that VEST anyway, just by trading and levelling up a few select cards and then renting for a year....
Especially with those guaranteed gold cards, which do tend to rent well.
And it's not as if it's new money coming in, I just unstaked some SPS, which is the most useless asset in the game for now, and swapped that for DEC and then cards.
It's just transferring in-game resources so the effective cost to me is 0!
I've got plenty SPS and I think recycling some of it into packs and cards is the way this whole thing is supposed to work!
The Chaos Legion Whinge in Discord....
I've been stalking the Land Barons Discord and this is a perennial theme.... how bad an invested Chaos Legion was, I think I spunked $6K on cards, and those are currently worth $3.5K, which isn't great BUT I would have made back that missing 50% in rentals and land staking over the past four years EASY.
And if that's as bad as it gets, that's not that bad!
Land the best Vest!
I bought a tract I think I paid around $1200 me thinks...and I got VERY LUCKY with the Castle, and the rest of it wasn't too bad either, over the odds magic and rares and epics and even another LEGENDARY.
And since then I've Vested a fair amount in mainly CHAOS GOLDS to pump up my PP, I've got around 1.1M PP on LAND thus far, which is nice!
Land is by far the best SL Vest I made!
And I get to look forward to pack openings...
It's nice to know I'm getting 20 guaranteed gold foil cards, that's a nice feeling! I'm not hoping for any black foils, or any results from the raffle, I've learned with SL DICE ROLLS if you get your hopes up you just end up being disappointed.
