My oh my oh My here we are in June already!!! I Powered Up 200 Hive in honour of the event, only a little Power Up as it's a good time to keep some funds liquid with the markets looking lively! That recent Dippity Dip encouraged me to Power Up a little more!
I managed four decent runs in the last 10 days, it's been a good stretch....I've documented four below, in addition I did 2 shorter 2Ks after some circuit sessions, so all in all probably the most running I've done in 10 days this year!!!
If you live in Britain you would have heard of the recent cyber attack against that middle class icon, Marks and Spencer. M&S had to suspend online orders and stock control, basically everything essential to running a business. Staff even had to (reportedly) take fridge temperatures by hand because they couldn't trust the online systems. M and S is still recovering from what appears to have been one of the most comprehensive system-down attacks of modern times.
It's been steady progress in Yorric Dale over the last month, since my last post on all things Splinterlands Land!Overview of Land Production....I currently have 2.83M DEC staked, which is a very nice chunk of the way toward my interim goal of 3K DEC!
The recent US-Ukraine mineral deal seems like a miracle given the disastrous "you don't hold any cards" Washington meeting just a couple of months ago. Maybe it was fitting that the terms for the this seemingly mutually beneficial deal were set out initially on the day of St Francis' funeral, possibly it was a mammoth act of convincing Trump behind the scenes of the beneficial symbolism of offering a more generous deal having initially played hard-ball, on this particular day...?
While I am set to be the beneficiary of one in the not-too-distant-future, public sector pensions are a huge burden on the state, simply because they are so generous and so many millions of people are entitled to them!Moreover, the disparity between pension rights in the public and private sectors has not only become economically untenable but also morally unjust...
