We have so many religions exist in the world. Each of the religions have specific rituals, ceremonies, and practices, such as prayer, meditation, worship, fasting, and festivals, that help followers connect with their faith and deepen their spiritual understanding. Religions often provide pathways for personal and spiritual growth, encouraging individuals to deepen their faith, connect with their inner selves, and live more meaningful lives. Inspite of so many different religion prospect, their teaching alwsys directs towards common goals. To elaborate, Sanskrit has given us following verses :
एक वर्णं यथा दुग्धं भिन्न वर्णासु धेनुषु |
तथैव धर्मवैचित्र्यं तत्वमेकं परं स्मृतं ||
Ek varnam yathaa dugdham bhinna varnaasu dhenushu
tatheawa dharmavaichatryam tatwamekam param smrutam.
Varnam = colour.
Dugdham = milk.
Bhinna = different.
Varneshu = breeds
Dhenu = cow.
Dhenushu = cows.
Tathewa = similarly.
Dharma = religion.
Vaichaitrya = peculiarities.
Tatwa = essence, basic tenet.
Ekam = one, one only.
Param = supreme, best.
Smrutam = Religious texts written by our sages in the past known as Smritis and Dharma Samhitaas, codifying the various tenets of Dharma.
i.e. Just as the colour of milk is always the same (white) although the cows may be of different breeds and colors, likewise in spite of peculiarities and different ways of worship among the various Religions,the basic tenats of all of them are the same, as codified in our scriptures by our sages.
The lines wanted to convey, that inspite of diiferent religion, they teach us common lessons. Each of the religion focuses on : patience , forgiveness, courage, not indulging in theft, cleanliness of body, control over sensory organs, intelligence,being learned, truthfullness and control over anger. One can hardly differentiate the ideology imparted through different religion of the world.
Rather than fighting over religion, as a human being we should try to follow the main teaching for the welfare of the mankind and society.

Learning is Passion!!
