The last POLIAC season has been over for a while now, you must have missed it, we are starting the next one, this is the 22nd season. Since last season I have introduced the tradition of four seasons per year: winter, spring, summer and autumn. I will try to have them start no later than two weeks after the start of the next season, which means there will be longer breaks between seasons. The new season will start on 21 March 2025 and end on 23 April 2025, and I hope you are ready for the new challenges and in top form. It will again be a full season with a return round, which means it will be twice as much fun. The number of participants and the line-up will remain the same, if anyone is interested we still have two vacancies. The rest remains the same. Defending champion is @new.things.
[POL] Ostatni sezon POLIAC zakończył się już jakiś czas temu, pewnie zdążyliście się stęsknić, zaczynamy kolejny, to już 22.ty sezon. Od poprzedniego sezonu wprowadziłem tradycję czterech sezonów w roku: zimowy, wiosenny, letni i jesienny. Postaram się, żeby zaczynały się nie później niż dwa tygodnie od rozpoczęcia kolejnej pory roku, czyli będą dłuższe przerwy między sezonami. Nowy sezon staruje 21 marca 2025, a skończy się 23 kwietnia 2025. Mam nadzieję, że jesteście gotowi na nowe wyzwania i w szczytowej formie. Ponownie będzie to pełny sezon z rundą rewanżową, czyli będzie dwa razy więcej zabawy. Ilość uczestników i skład pozostaje bez zmian, jeżeli ktoś jest zainteresowany, to wciąż mamy dwa wolne miejsca. Reszta pozostaje bez zmian. Obrońcą tytułu jest @new.things.

The tournament rules remain unchanged. The Golden League and Silver League will each have 18 participants, who will compete in one-on-one duels every day for 34 days. The winner of a duel receives 3 points and the loser receives zero points. In the event of a tie, each receives one point.
For many seasons, there were two unwritten rules that I followed to eliminate inactive players. As of this season, they are written down and put into a set of rules.
The first is the ‘five absences at the start of the season’ rule. If a player is inactive for the first five rounds of the season, he is disqualified and replaced by another player on the waiting list.
The second rule is ‘more than 50% activity’. This is also the case this time. If a player is inactive for more than 50% of the season for the entire season, he is disqualified from the next season, but actively participates in the current season until the very end, even if he has previously reached an activity level of <50%.
Zasady turnieju pozostają bez zmian. W Golden League i Silver League rywalizuje po 18 uczestników, którzy codziennie przez 34 dni będą rywalizować w pojedynkach każdy z każdym. Zwycięzca pojedynku otrzymuje 3 pkt, a przegrany zero. W przypadku remisu każdy otrzymuje po 1 pkt.
Przez wiele sezonów istniały dwie niepisane zasady, których przestrzegałem, żeby wyeliminować nieaktywnych graczy. Od tego sezonu zostają spisane i umieszczone w zbiorze zasad.
Pierwszą z nich jest zasada „pięciu nieobecności na początku sezonu”. Jeśli gracz jest nieaktywny w pierwszych pięciu rundach sezonu, zostaje zdyskwalifikowany i zastąpiony innym graczem z listy oczekujących.
Drugą zasadą jest „ponad 50% aktywności”. Tak jest i tym razem. Jeśli gracz jest nieaktywny przez ponad 50% sezonu przez cały sezon, zostaje zdyskwalifikowany z następnego sezonu, ale aktywnie uczestniczy w bieżącym sezonie do samego końca, nawet jeśli wcześniej osiągnął poziom aktywności <50%.
As in previous seasons participation is without any entry fee, the prize pool for the next season is being collected during this season, however, if anyone would like to contribute to the prize pool it is as always welcome. For my part, I will be donating 50 HBD and 13600 AFIT to the prize pool. In each round, the users with the best score from each of the two leagues and the losers with the best score will each receive 100 AFIT. The HBD prize pool will be distributed to the top 10 in each league as follows:
Podobnie jak w poprzednich sezonach udział w rozgrywkach jest bez żadnych opłat wpisowych, pula nagród do kolejnego sezonu zbierana jest w trakcie trwania tego sezonu, jednakże gdyby ktoś chciał dorzucić się do puli nagród to jest to jak zawsze mile widziane. Ze swojej strony przekaże do puli nagród 50 HBD i 13600 AFIT. W każdej kolejce użytkownicy, z każdej z dwóch lig, którzy uzyskają najlepszy wynik oraz przegrani z najlepszym wynikiem otrzymają każdorazowo 100 AFIT. Pula nagród HBD zostanie rozdzielona między 10 najlepszych w każdej lidze w następujący sposób:
GOLDEN LEAGUE - 27,5 HBD
(I place - 5 HBD; II place - 4,5 HBD; III place - 4 HBD; IV place - 3,5 HBD; ...; X place 0,5 HBD)
SILVER LEAGUE - 22 HBD
(I place - 4 HBD; II place - 3,6 HBD; III place - 3,2 HBD; IV place - 2,8 HBD; ...; X place 0,4 HBD)
The two worst participants from the Golden League are relegated to the Silver League. In their place, the two best players from the Silver League are promoted.
Dwóch najgorszych uczestników z Golden League spada do Silver League. Na ich miejsce awansuje dwóch najlepszych graczy z Silver League.
If you don't wish to compete in the next season of #POLIAC this is the best time to opt out, just write in the comments that you are opting out of the fun. Once the competition has started, this will complicate matters.
