https://youtu.be/8RO2qgiCjE4 This is the new CR-V from Honda – well, it’s 6th Gen – and it’s a Hybrid! The one we have here is the self charging variant (e:HEV) but there’s a plug in available too, so it all depends on what yours needs and resources are.
We have a bit of a soft spot for Honda here at Planetauto, so we’re always rather happy to get one in on review. The CR-V has been Honda’s best selling SUV for years now, and I have to say I’m delighted they went down the hybrid route rather than change over to full BEV (Mind you, it’s not that I don’t like EV’s – I do – it just feels like so many manufacturers miss a trick when they disregard hybrid powertrains)
That’s because a hybrid powertrain is so versatile – it’s literally the best of both! Add this to how versatile the CR-V is already, and (like we always say) it ticks a lot of boxes.
There are two trims to choose from, the Excellence and the Advance, costing £47,350.00 and £50,470.00 respectively for these self charging hybrid variants.
