These days it's all about EV's, so it was wonderful to be invited to a drive event that showcased a combustion vehicle - AND a diesel one to boot. (see what I did there?🤣)Thing is, Mazda make good cars, and if you've not driven one, I urge you to do so. I never rated any Mazda cars until I got behind the wheel of this one, and I was more than just pleasantly surprised.

"It's a Van, Jim - but not as we know it"Introducing the latest from Kia - the all electric PV5 Van...Now yes, it's not what you've come to expect from the Korean car manufacturer, but they aren't worried about ruffling feathers, as they are now firmly poised to take their place in the commercial vehicle sector - one that has been dominated by the Legend Brands of Ford, Mercedes Benz and VW for many years now - and their debut van? The PV5.

When is an Isuzu D-Max not quite an Isuzu D-Max? When said D-Max is all electric! Unveiled at this week’s CVShow (Commercial Vehicle Show) it was – without doubt – the highlight of the event. Isuzu had not let slip anything about the unveil, so no-one knew it was coming.

There are a lot of new cars popping up at the moment – a lot of them are fully electric, and a lot of them will be from brands you’ve never heard of before, or that you’re not at all familiar with. This is the BE11 from Skywell – a fully electric SUV that they are launching into the UK market with. They started life as part of the Nanjing Golden Dragon Bus Company, and are available via Innovation Automotive – a company that have been supplying Europe and the UK with commercial Chinese vehicles for a while now.

This is the new CR-V from Honda – well, it’s 6th Gen – and it’s a Hybrid! The one we have here is the self charging variant (e:HEV) but there’s a plug in available too, so it all depends on what yours needs and resources are.
