Hello, Hive friends! Welcome to my entry for the Wednesday walk challenge proposed by
@tattoodjay. These photos were taken on Monday, and I'm glad to share them here, along with all that happened before, during, and after the walk. On this day, I woke up around 5 PM feeling sluggish and unwell. I wouldn't say it was due to the heat because it rained that night and there was electricity.
I felt like my body needed something a little more than my usual morning stretch, so I stood up, put on my sportswear, and hit the street for a short walk. The street was kind enough to give me what I needed: a cool breeze and a feeling of tranquility.
A few minutes into the walk, I began taking photos. This helped me clear my head of random thoughts. I was happy to see the clean street with no people. I avoided the express road because I wanted to clear my head; for this, I needed less light from vehicles and people. I was the only one on the street for most of the walk, and I was happy about it.
I walked for about 30 minutes, then returned home to do some body stretches that involved my muscles, waist, neck, legs, back, and other parts of my body. After that, I prepared and left for my industrial training.
I didn't do anything at work, but I still felt tired, like someone who had just returned from clearing two plots of land.
I took another walk in the evening, this time to the mall I had seen earlier during my morning walk. I remembered that my secondary school senior had given me her card last month. She told me she was the manager and asked me to patronize the mall anytime I wanted to buy groceries. After checking around for a few minutes, I couldn't find most of the items I was looking for, so I had to pay for a Vaseline and then left for the supermarket where I normally do my shopping.
Here, I had a hard time choosing a body moisturizer. My usual cream is now very expensive, so I had to look for a more affordable one. I'm not really good at making this kind of choice, except when it comes to perfumes. After checking for about three minutes, I still couldn't make a choice, so I gave up. It's better that I don't buy anything than to buy something I wouldn't use or something that would react badly on my skin.
I later bought a few food items, toiletries, and deodorants and then left for my house.
I didn't forget to pick up some chocolates.
When I got home, I prepared dinner for myself, drafted a post, and went to sleep.
The most interesting part of this day is the early morning walk because at first, it felt like I would have a sloppy Monday, which isn't a nice way to begin a week. I really appreciate nature and how therapeutic it can be to anyone who appreciates and embraces it.
Thank you for reading.
