From a young age, I was made to understand that health is wealth, both at home and in school. I was taught to drink clean water and wash my hands as frequently as I could. I was taught to be wary of germs and report any unusual feelings. I grew up being sensitive about my health: my feelings, my emotions, and even my thoughts— little changes that felt abnormal.

I’ve often said I rarely watch movies that are recommended to me. That’s because I usually don’t find them as interesting as the person made them sound, and I end up disappointed. But this one was different. A friend simply said, “Go and watch it, I’m sure you’ll like it.” No explanation, no hype. Just that. And to my surprise, I liked it—actually, I loved it. It even surpassed my expectations.

SourceToday, technology has brought us comfort, pleasure, and efficiency. Tasks that once demanded hours of effort can now be completed in minutes. Hard work has become easier and faster with the help of digital tools, reducing stress and preventing exhaustion from the simplest of chores.

Twenty children do not play together for twenty years.And it happened that on the day of our graduation, amidst the excitement, we felt sad. It dawned on us that we weren’t coming back to school after that day. We cried a lot, my friends, my classmates, and I. I can also recall our matron crying; it was an emotional scene.
