The philosophy of Hivecomb is keeping it simple. By default there's no vote power slider, no downvotes, no rewards shown.
Some of these things are important for curators though. As the founder of @curangel that's something close to my heart, so it didn't take @dlmmqb long to convince me to add a curation mode.
When you're logged in, go to settings -> advanced. Activate manual voting to get the option for curation mode. Once that's activated, there will be an additional filters row, allowing you to filter by post age, amount of votes and rewards on posts.
This way, the site stays slick and simple for the casual reader and still provides options for power users.
