This is my reflection for this week's contest. Walking through the picturesque province of La Rioja, Argentina, I was pleasantly surprised to find this reflection. I was in a lovely place called Chilecito, and it had been a rainy day. Although the rain had stopped, puddles of water remained here and there. In one of those puddles, a little dog had found fresh water to drink. I found the scene so captivating and serene that I couldn't resist capturing it with my cell phone camera. The simplicity of the moment and the tranquility of the surroundings left a lasting impression on me, a perfect blend of nature and everyday life.

This is my entry for this week's contest. The glass is from a simple glass of water. It was on my table when I saw it and I was struck by the way it generated light. I ran to get my camera and take some nice abstract photos.

This is my first entry in the community, and I am excited to share my photographic work with you. I have been practicing the double exposure technique, a wonderful way to create intriguing and evocative images. Double exposure can be achieved both at the time of shooting, using the camera, and in the editing process. For this particular project, I chose to do it on the computer, through careful editing work. The technique consists of superimposing two images. In my case, I used the model's face combined with a photo of branches and leaves that I took in a park. I experimented with various blending modes between both images, adjusting and erasing some areas to highlight others. This practice not only allowed me to explore different results, but sometimes pleasantly surprised me with unexpected effects. In this specific case, I achieved, almost accidentally, a strange and fascinating hairstyle. The final image shows a melancholic young woman who seems lost in her thoughts, puzzled by this strange hairstyle that emerges from the fusion of the images. I am looking forward to hearing your opinions and suggestions for further improvement in this exciting path of double exposure photography.

This is a star trail I made by stacking 50 shots.Esta es una traza de estrellas que realicé apilando 50 tomas. To explain the method I'll post the first and last photos here. In total there were 50 photos taken at the same interval between each one. Then I used a free program downloaded from the internet that stacks all the images and thus the star trails are achieved.

I took this photo one afternoon in an old mansion in the city of Buenos Aires. It was a photo shoot with a young model in a dark room, barely lit by the light filtering through a broken window. The frontal light created a hard, dark shadow on the back wall, highlighting the peeling walls and the obvious neglect of the place. This decadent environment gave the model an air of mystery that contrasted wonderfully with her beauty and youth, creating an image full of contrast and depth. Shadows and darkness predominate here, only the illuminated figure of the young woman stands out. This is my entry for this week's call for entries.
