A lovely cloudy swirly day.

The wind decided that it would follow the contours of the mountains and the hills.
Amazing to watch how the wind speeds the clouds over the mountains.
All of the photos here were taken on the same day from our car window, and the views played out like a movie. I don't know if you have seen something like this before but let me tell you that it was wonderful to see how a cross wind flowed the clouds over the contours of the mountain.
I don't know what they call these low shapes of the clouds, but I do know that there is a name for it. We will just call it a low cloud flow, and it is beautiful. It often amazes me how the views are not of interest to the general public, and they just don't know what they are missing. Thankfully there are many here on Hive that appreciate the views, and it feels like home to me.
The two photos below will show you how a cross wind, blowing from the left to the right shaped the clouds over the mountains.
And here below we passed the hills, so I had to stop the car in order to take a few shots. Nothing erratic to the views, as just a steady and beautiful slow flow of clouds above the hills.
Things changed dramatically when we reached our destination, as the skies opened, and things started to clear.
Just a later shot of the view on our back home.
We never grow tired of the landscapes here, and the wind has a mind of its own, as it comes and goes as it pleases. We keep a watch on the constant changes, and not one day is the same. The bay where we stay is fronted by the wild Atlantic Ocean, and the bay is surrounded by mountains. So, now you can imagine that the wind from the sea and the wind from behind the mountains are not the same, and we have watched many battles between two winds from different directions. It conjures up some classic clashes.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
