Vivencias cotidianas me llevan a reflexionar sobre diferentes cuestiones y en esta ocasión recordando y en algún punto extrañando un poco, la significancia de los ríos en mi historia personal y por supuesto hablando de mi provincia Corrientes, más específicamente de la ciudad de Goya. Para muchas ciudades del país los ríos cumplen una función fundamental y más allá del transporte por los mismos, todo lo que se genera alrededor es de vital importancia. Tanto la música, el arte callejero, artes culinarias y un sinfín de motivos, hacen que amemos y respetemos a nuestros ríos.

Everyday experiences lead me to reflect on different matters, and on this occasion, remembering—and at times missing—the significance of rivers in my personal history, and of course, speaking of my province of Corrientes, more specifically the city of Goya. For many cities in the country, rivers fulfill a fundamental function, and beyond transportation, everything that arises around them is of vital importance. Music, street art, culinary arts, and countless other reasons make us love and respect our rivers.

      Casualmente, la semana pasada vi un video que me compartió un amigo y que inclusive me hizo conocer detalles que desconocía de mi ciudad. Estoy seguro de que a vos te pasa lo mismo y que en ocasiones ves en las redes sociales detalles de tu ciudad que desconoces y a veces estás tan cerca. La costanera de la ciudad de Goya tuvo un llamado de atención a través de uno de los brazos del río Paraná y por supuesto charlaré al respecto.

Coincidentally, last week I saw a video that a friend shared with me, and it even revealed details about my city that I didn't know. I'm sure you feel the same way and sometimes see things about your city on social media that you weren't aware of, even though you're sometimes so close to them. The riverfront in the city of Goya recently received attention from one of the branches of the Paraná River, and I'll definitely be talking about it.
