Hola amigos, es un placer estar de nuevo por acá para compartirles una nueva experiencia, LES CUENTO que desde hace unos días el aire acondicionado de la habitación de mi hijo se le ha venido presentando un ruido que cada vez se hacía más fuerte, es el ruido caracterítico de un rodamiento en mal estado, la verdad es que anoche se escuchaba como el ruido de un avión, jajaja.. por lo que hoy decidí cambiarle los dos rodamientos del motor del ventilador y aprovechar para realizarle su debido mantenimiento, porque el ultimo mantenimiento se le hizo fue hace un año, cuamdo mi hijo lo utilizaba, porque después que ÉL se fué de viaje para Brasil, ese aire no se usó más hasta hace dos semanas que decidimos arreglar la habitación y fue entonces cuando notamos ese ruido.
Bueno amigos, los equipos de Aires acondicionados también se dañan si no los usamos y nos olvidamos de ellos, luego los invade el salistre y el polvo deteriorando de esta manerade la lámina de la base. Este aire acondicionado es de la marca LG DE 12000 BTU, y lo compramos hace 26 años, la verdad es que este AC, ha salido muy bueno, nunca lo hemos reparado.

Well, friends, air conditioners also break down if we don't use them and forget about them. Then salt and dust invade them, damaging the base plate. This air conditioner is a 12,000 BTU LG brand, and we bought it 26 years ago. The truth is, this AC has been very good, and we've never repaired it.
Solo le iba a realizar un mantenimiento al Aire acondicionado y el cambio de rodamientos, pero surgió algo adicional // I was only going to perform maintenance on the air conditioning and change the bearings, but something additional came up.
Como les decía al comienzo, hoy decidí reemplazar los rodamientos del motor del ventilador del aire acondicionado y también aprovechar para realizarle el mantenimiento, pero al desarmar el A.C, me di cuenta que la lámina de la base donde reposa todos los componentes del AC, estaba muy oxidada, de manera que ahora, no solo tenía que lavar el A.C, sino también cepillar dicha base para remover todo el óxido y aplicar fondo anticorrosivo, la verdad es que yo pensé que podía terminar el trabajo esta misma tarde, pero no fue así, porque los tornillos estan tan oxidados que tuve que utilizar líquido para aflojar tuercas, bueno amigos, así pasó el tiempo entre aflojar los tornillo y remover el aspa del ventilador, que de paso también estaba muy trabado, también tuve que remover las tuercas que sujetan el compresor, porque tengo que quitar todos los componentes del sistema de enfriamiento del aire acondicionado como el condensador, el evaporador y el compresor, los cualesa van unido mediante las tubería, porque necesito remover el oxido de la base metalica y además de esto, tengo que aplicar fondo anticorrosivo y pintura a dicha base.

Lo primero que hice fue retirar la pletina que une el colector de aire del condensador con el otro colector de aire del evaporador, esta pieza también le da estabilidad a todo el cuerpo del aire acondicionado:

Ahora viene la parte fea, lo que no esperaba, miren lo oxidado que está la base metálica A.C. // Now comes the ugly part, which I didn't expect, look how rusty the A.C. metal base is.
Bueno amigos, la verdad es que no esperaba que este aire acondicionado me diera tanto trabajo para desarmarlo, lo bueno es que ya lo quité las tuercas del compresor, también quité el aspa del ventilador del condensador y quite todos los tornillos que sujetan el evaporador, de manera que ya puedo levantar y retirar tanto el condensador como el evaporador y el compresor, porque esto es un solo cuerpo, ¡PERO! , aquí está el ¡PERO! ya que para poder retirar todos estos componentes del aire, deben sostenerse dichos componentes por los dos extremos y aparte de esto también hay sostener el compresor, porque el sistema del aire acondicionado es muy delicado, hay que evitar que las tuberías se doblen porque cualquier descuido puede provocar una avería y por consiguiente una fuga del gas y eso si sería fatal, de manera, será para mañana que busque a alguien que me ayude a sostener estas piezas para dejar libre la base metálica del A.C. Well friends, the truth is that I did not expect this air conditioner to give me so much work to disassemble the different parts of the A.C, the good thing is that after so many inconveniences I was finally able to remove all the screws, I already removed the nuts from the compressor, I also removed the condenser fan blade and removed all the screws that hold the evaporator, so now I can lift and remove both the condenser and the evaporator and the compressor, because this is a single body, BUT!, here is the BUT! since in order to remove all these components from the air, said components must be held at both ends and apart from this you also have to hold the compressor, because the air conditioning system is very delicate, you have to avoid bending the pipes because any carelessness can cause a breakdown and consequently a gas leak and that would be fatal, so, it will be for tomorrow that I look for someone to help me hold these pieces to release the metal base of the A.C.
