Hello beautiful ladies of hive. πŸ₯° . I prefer healthy foods with my following reasons.
Junk foods are varieties of baked and fried snacks made with different ingredients eg.flour ,wheat, butter, salt, sugar,milk, salt flavor to add. Those junk foods are biscuits, meatpies ,cakes, daughnuts, pizza etc. I consume some of them on a daily basis. Including soft drinks which contains much sugar. Which are harmful to my health.
For many days ,during my work hours in the office, I go out during break period to buy snacks such as meat pie or buns. I buy it not that it fills my stomach but at least to quench hunger. It serves as an apetizer. After I eat snacks with my soft drink. My health problem started, I did not know that i am cursing myself more harm than good.
I don't like junk food because it looks so attractive, tempting and tasty too. But later, I found out that junk food doesn't give me the nutrition my body system needs. The more i eat junk food , the more it causes more damage to my health . When i cook my balanced diet , I will be able to have the treats I like without long protocols. I hate junk food because it is high in calories and low in nutrients. I spend alot of money to buy junk food everyday .
Since I was a little child , I derive joy when I see my mom cook. I learnt how to cook healthy meals through observation. During those days, my mon did not teach me how to cook. I enjoy watching her. From that moment onwards i learnt how to cook super delicious meals that one cannot even resist.
During my school days, we had cooking competition. Which was known as food and nutrition. It was a day i will never forget. It was a day i showcased my God given talent. I Cooked and they ate and all were satisfied including my teachers.They were surprised to see my capabilities to cook delicious food. I was greatly rewarded for coming second position after the competition. SmilesπŸ₯°.
Furthemore, on healthy foods, it improves my overall health with essential nutrients. It protects me from having heart disease, diabetes and cancer . When I eat variety of foods and consume less salt , sugar and saturated fats, is very essential for a healthy diet.
Healthy food consists of fruits ,vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds, plant protein and fatty fish with reduced consumption of saturated fat, salt.....for me.
I like cooking my food to my satisfaction. Before I cook my food ,I make sure that i have the right ingredients and food items for the preparation. Is very important to avoid making mistakes. When I'm done cooking, I put my food inside my fridge for preservation. You can now know the reason why i said earlier that junk food dosen't last longer and they are very costly. Healthy food saves me costs, its very affordable and it lasts longer.
So my beautiful ladies, if you are the type that goes out to some resturants to eat junk food everyday. Pls you are damaging your health. Pls stop it. Let us always form the habit of eating good healthy foods. Health is wealth. Live healthy , stay healthy.
