The weird neighbor nextdoor.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. One of my problems with moving starts when I start thinking about the type of people I will meet in my new neighborhood. Will they be as good as the current ones, or am I moving from bad to worse? Trust me, there are neighbors that will make you regret ever leaving your previous neighborhood to live in the new one, neighbors that are all out to make you feel uncomfortable and would always do things to get on your nerves.
There are houses and apartments that are good and meet every standard you are looking for, but the people living around there become a problem, and you find it difficult to live in a house or an apartment you will actually love to live in. There are neighborhoods where the people living there feel like they were selected, and if you move in there, you come to realize or feel like you are the only sane person living there, as all the rest are weirdos and doing things that you cannot even believe if another person was telling you the story, but for the fact that you are seeing it with your own eyes, which is the reason you actually believe it.
The funny thing with neighbors is that you never get to know their habits or how they behave until you have moved in and stayed around for some time. If only it were possible the day you come to check out the place to be the day you get to know if the neighbors are okay or not, then you will know if you should go ahead and move on or abort the mission. After living on campus for a while, I decided to live off campus since I heard life off campus was more fun and offered better opportunities, so the hunt for a good apartment began. Funny how the one I was in was good, but just wanting to experience what it feels like to live off campus led me to an apartment where I met a lot of weird people, but one stood out.
A girl living next door just two days after I moved came to knock on my door. When I opened up, she said she just wanted to be sure I was awake and walked away 😂. I stood by the door watching her walk back to her own room. The first thing that crossed my mind was a movie I watched. I just moved, and I don't even know her. If I had known her, I could say she was only teasing. Sometimes you come out of the room and you meet her in the hallway; she will keep looking you right in the eye without saying a word until you either walk out or go back inside.
A few months later she moved out. I thought I was the only one she was doing that to, but later on I realized she was known for it, and other neighbors had gotten used to it, so they no longer found it strange.
