You know what we never lacked during our adventures at #HiveFest in Split? Beers, lots of beers we had! So I don't think it's fair to summarize so many flavors in one post, therefore I'll go in parts and starting with the absolute must, the surprise from the amazing @detlev for this edition's #BeerSaturday. There were many of us who questioned this gentleman before the moment of his presentation, I don't know how he is able to control so much insistence and pressure from the attendees. We were constantly asking what we would do for this #BeerSaturday and if he had planned something in particular, to this he always answered with a smile and assured us that yes, he had planned something different and special this time. So much patience you have! To set the mood, this presentation took place on the third day of HiveFest, inside the dungeons of the Diocletian Palace, none other than one of the filming sets of *Game of Thrones*. In addition we had the space delimited only for the attendees of the event, so we can guarantee we were extremely fortunate.

Así que no me parece justo resumir tantos sabores en un solo post, por lo que iré por partes y empezando con lo imprescindible, la sorpresa del increíble @detlev para el #BeerSaturday de esta edición.
Fuimos muchos los que interrogábamos a este caballero antes de que llegara el momento de su presentación, no sé cómo es capaz de controlar tanta insistencia y presión de parte de los asistentes. Constantemente preguntábamos qué haríamos para este #BeerSaturday y si él había planeado algo en particular, a esto él siempre contestaba con una sonrisa y nos aseguraba que sí, que había planeado algo diferente y especial esta vez. ¡Cuanta paciencia tienes!
Para ponernos en ambiente, está presentación tuvo lugar el tercer día del HiveFest, dentro de las mazmorras del palacio Diocleciano, nada más y nada menos que uno de los set de grabación de *Juego de Tronos*. Además teníamos el espacio delimitado solo para los asistentes del evento, por lo que podemos asegurar que fuimos todos unos afortunados.

When the time came, @roelandp gave place once again to Detlev, who had been helping during the question session to the panelists, and although he had already been on stage several times, this once was all about his most cherished project, for which he is so well known in our blockchain, the #BeerSaturday. As he presented the history and evolution of the project, it had already been 375 weeks since the beginning of this initiative. This project is not only a great community, it is a party, where every week, users around the world share their experiences and taste for beer, competing for a series of prizes for the highest quality posts. And they are not only prizes for three or five people, they are distributed among several users making the contest more attractive. Writing this post a few days later, I participate in the 377th week of the challenge, for those who find it hard to realize the time, this is many years, 7 years of uninterrupted activity. Is it not at least admirable? I think we all take off our hats unhesitatingly to this gentleman. Incredible indeed, but this more or less we all knew, what we didn't know was about a new crypto-brewing project that Detlev discovered and presented to us at this event. This is a brewery created from the Web3 concept where you can buy NFTs and mine in exchange for cans of beer. According to what I have seen on the website [>> metabrewsociety.com <<](https://www.metabrewsociety.com/en) the first ones were sold for about €1,000 worth, now the special membership is around triple. Best of all you get 240 cans of beer annually with quarterly shipments, at least for three years, although there are also special boxes that are worth about €45.00 which I think is good for a little browsing at first, so it's not all NFTs, there are more mainstream versions that can be bought for €15.00 with FIAT. Besides the crypto concept behind this brewery, their products stand out for presenting high quality and taste with a lower alcohol content than usual, at least than the typical ones in Germany, reducing with this the damage to health and the amount of calories ingested with beer. They also have a wide range of non-alcoholic beers, full of lots of aroma and flavor, but enhanced with different elements, such as vitamins, caffeine or, something that interested me a lot, melatonin to help sleeping, something I could really use, they call it "Sleep brew" and I have to find a way to get me some cans of it. If anyone out there wants to gift me a NFT of these, I wouldn't complain 🍻🤣. But the surprise wasn't informing us of this, but giving us the chance to taste the creations of this brewery, in order to close the two days of HiveFest presentations on a high note.

> Cuando llegó el momento indicado, @roelandp dio paso una vez más a Detlev, quien había estado ayudando durante la sesión de preguntas a los panelistas, y aunque ya había estado en el escenario varias veces, esta vez se trataba de su proyecto más preciado, por lo que es tan conocido en nuestra blockchain, el #BeerSaturday.
Al presentar la historia y evolución del proyecto, se habían cumplido ya 375 semanas desde que se dio comienzo a esta iniciativa. Este proyecto no es sólo una gran comunidad, es una fiesta, en donde cada semana, usuarios al rededor del mundo comparte sus experiencias y gusto por la cerveza, optando además por una serie de premios destinados a la publicaciones de mayor calidad. Y no solo son premios para tres o cinco personas, se reparten entre varios usuarios haciendo más atractivo el concurso.
Escribiendo este post unos días más tarde, participo en la semana 377 del reto, para el que le cueste darse cuenta del tiempo, esto son muchos años, 7 años de actividad ininterrumpida. ¿Acaso no es como mínimo admirable? Creo que todos nos quitamos el sombrero sin dudarlo ante este señor.
Increíble sí, pero esto más o menos lo conocíamos todos, lo que no sabíamos era sobre un nuevo proyecto cripto cervecero que descubrió Detlev y nos presentó en este evento.
Se trata de una cervecería creada desde el concepto Web3 en donde puedes adquirir NFTs y minar a cambio de latas de cervezas. Según lo que he visto en la página web [>> metabrewsociety.com <<](https://www.metabrewsociety.com/en) los primeros fueron vendidos por valor de 1.000€ aproximadamente, ahora la afiliación especial está alrededor del triple. Lo mejor de todo es que recibes 240 latas de cerveza anuales con envíos cuatrimestrales, al menos por tres años, aunque también hay cajas especiales que tienen valor de unos 45,00€ que me parece bien para curiosear un poco al principio, por lo que todo no son NFTs, hay versiones más corrientes que se pueden comprar por 15,00€ con FIAT.
Además del concepto cripto detrás de esta cervecería, sus productos destacan por presentar alta calidad y sabor con un contenido de alcohol más bajo que el usual, al menos que los típicos en Alemania, reduciendo con esto el daño a la salud y la cantidad de calorías ingeridas con la cerveza. Tienen también una amplia gama de cervezas sin alcohol, llenas de mucho aroma y sabor, pero potenciadas con distintos elementos, como vitaminas, cafeína o, algo que me interesó mucho, melatonina para conciliar el sueño, algo que me vendría muy bien, la llaman “Sleep brew” y tengo que encontrar la manera de conseguirme unas latas de esta. Si alguien por ahí quiere regalarme un NFT de estos, no me quejaría.🍻🤣
Pero la sorpresa no era informarnos de esto, sino darnos la oportunidad de probar las creaciones de esta cervecería, para así cerrar con broche de oro los dos días de presentaciones del HiveFest.

Upon announcing this, I think the desire to get up from our chairs and go try the options Detlev had brought us as samples was greater than the attention we paid to the farewell of the event. Importantly, our day was spent inside the iconic setting in the basement of Diocletian's palace and, we had no shortage of food and drink thanks to the [ >> catering << ](https://ecency.com/hive-106258/@ninaeatshere/diocletians-palace-catering-or-engesp) that they prepared for us that day, so it was totally safe to go and try all the beers we wanted, well I don't know if all of them, because I understand we were more than 100 people gathered, but somehow I was able to try several, waiting almost at the end not to deprive anyone of the experience. Among the purely @metabrew versions my favorite was the **Dark Ale**, it is the style of beers I prefer, dark, but with the advantage of having only 2.5% alcohol, something that is not at all common in these beers and that seems to me a quite acceptable option to avoid excesses. I also tried one of the non-alcoholic options, the **Happy Bubbles** which contains 250mg of Maca, something that I never imagined I would find in a beer, it seemed more like a soda. I also tried the **Pale Ale**, quite light, but I missed the opportunity to find a wheat one, it's a pity because I like them a lot and it would have been nice to know what the difference could be with one of normal alcohol content, I think my mistake was to confuse the color of the can of this one with the *Dark Ale*, they looked very similar and with so many things happening at the same time, I didn't stop to read too much. As for the **Mathäser Bräu** they brew without the crypto model, nor the reduced alcohol level or including curious elements among their ingredients, I tried a **Helles** and a **Maibock** which, despite being good and pleasant, were nothing out of the ordinary. Or maybe I think that because I was in awe of the crypto idea so well presented to us by Detlev. 🤣

> Al anunciar esto, creo que las ganas de levantarnos de la sillas e ir a probar las opción que nos había traído de muestra Detlev, eran mayores que la atención que prestamos a la despedida del evento.
Es importante destacar que nuestro día transcurrió dentro del icónico escenario en el sótano del palacio de Diocleciano y, no nos faltó comida ni bebida gracias al [ >> catering << ](https://ecency.com/hive-106258/@ninaeatshere/diocletians-palace-catering-or-engesp) que nos prepararon ese día, así que era totalmente seguro ir a probar todas las cervezas que quisiéramos, bueno no sé si todas, porque entiendo que éramos más de 100 personas reunidas, pero de alguna manera yo pude probar varias, esperando casi al final para no privar a nadie de la experiencia.
Entre las versiones puramente @metabrew mi favorita fue la **Dark Ale**, es del estilo de cervezas que prefiero, oscuras, pero con la ventaja de tener solo 2,5% de alcohol, algo que no es nada común es esas cervezas y que me parece una opción bastante aceptable para evitar excesos. También probé una de las opción sin alcohol la **Happy Bubbles** que contiene 250mg de Maca, algo que unas imagine encontrar en una cerveza, parecía más bien un refresco.
También probé la **Pale Ale**, bastante ligera, pero me perdí la oportunidad de dar con una de trigo, es una lástima porque me gustan mucho y hubiese estado bien saber que diferencia podría haber con una de graduación alcohólica normal, creo que mi error fue confundir el color de la lata de esta con la *Dark Ale*, se parecían mucho y con tantas cosas sucediendo al mismo tiempo, no me detuve a leer demasiado.
En cuanto a las **Mathäser Bräu** que fabrican sin el modelo cripto, ni la reducción del nivel de alcohol o incluyendo elementos curiosos entre sus ingredientes, probé una **Helles** y una **Maibock** que, a pesar de estar buenas y agradables, no eran nada fuera de lo común. O quizá pienso eso porque estaba maravillada por la cripto idea que tan bien nos presentó Detlev. 🤣

I have to thank also these gentlemen in the photo, who were very patient with me, helping me hold all the beer cans I wanted to take pictures of and test at the same time, while they were trying to talk seriously about the importance and difference between tokenization and gamification of certain elements. You are wonderful @achim03 @ph1102 and @arcange 😊 a toast to you guys!!! 🍻 With this Helles, we continued the beer party outside the dungeons, because the catering staff took care of picking up and cleaning everything quickly, even though we were still looking for beers. Waiting for us was the Hive rally car parked on the street and while car fans were taking pictures and getting excited by the sound of the rumbling engine, I was still tasting cans of beer and trying to notice some differences in their taste. There's a photo in @evelynchacin's post that I'll link below as a sample of our time outside the dungeons, I was so entertained talking about beers with the others that I didn't spare to take photos of that moment, but the truth is that I don't regret it either. Con esta Helles, seguimos la fiesta de la cerveza fuera de las mazmorras, porque los empleados del catering se encargaron de recoger y limpiar todo rápidamente, a pesar de que nosotros seguíamos buscando cervezas.
Nos esperaba el rally car de Hive aparcado en la calle y mientras los aficionados a los coches se hacían fotos y se emocionaban con el sonido del retumbante motor, yo seguía probando latas de cerveza e intentando notar algunas diferencias en su sabor. Hay una foto en el post de @evelynchacin que voy a enlazar a continuación, como muestra de nuestro rato fuera de las mazmorras, estaba muy entretenida hablando de cervezas con los demás que no reparé en hacer fotos de ese momento, pero la verdad es que tampoco me arrepiento. ¡Salud!
