This is another enameled silver bar by Ceeco. It's part of a series of 12 Happy Birthday bars with flowers, which was issued in 1973. This particular bar is the Calendula October bar.They seem to command a fair premium, which makes sense for such a nice looking bar. In general the Ceeco enameled bars are a good bet if you can find them in the generic bin, but that seems to be getting harder and harder as the spot price rises.

Today I have an enameled Ceeco art bar from the 1970's. I'm not sure exactly what year, because it has two on it: 1973 and 1974.The back is standard for a Ceeco bar. One interesting thing about this bar is that it has a relatively low serial number at 320. If only it was 420 I could have sold it to a stoner stacker for a premium. So close! But as it is, I thought it was a pretty neat little bar. It has a bit of toning on it, which i always like. I think an old bar should show its age.

I bought this bar for my son who is very into birds. It's a hobby he picked up several years ago during the pandemic, and since he's too young to drive, I am often birdwatching with him. As a result, I've gotten ok at identifying birds, but nowhere near his abilities. We actually make a pretty good team, because I'm better at spotting movement, so I can point out where to look and he can tell me what I'm seeing. I don't really know much about this bar other than what you can see in the pictures.

Muterra is a game I've followed loosely since I initially bought some assets and played the initial versions a couple years ago. I don't know anything about this game or the people behind it, except from what I've seen in posts, playing it a bit myself, and reading the discord server. It's a game built on HIVE that is currently in Alpha release, but the team says they are actively working on the next version and it should be just around the corner. I found this coin in a pawn shop. It's not worth much of anything, so I was able get it thrown in together with some other things I was buying for free. I think it's a pretty neat looking coin. It's got some good toning and it's almost 50 years old.

Oh, man, do I ever have a great old bar today! So much character/toning/patina/tarnish. If you've read my posts before, you know I love old bars with discoloration on them. But this? This is ugly, even for me. Back in the 70's and early 80's, it wasn't unusual for financial businesses to have silver bars minted with their logo on them. I guess kind of an advertising piece, but printed on something actually valuable. Some of these bars are fairly rare and fetch a lot of money. But as far as I can tell, not this one, and certainly not in this condition.
