These photos were taken during an early morning walk in search of some bird photos.As springtime rapidly advances and summer nears, the foliage on the trees grows more dense and opportunities to take a nice bird photos become less. They have so many more places to hide behind all of the leaves! Plus this time of year many are sitting on nests incubating eggs.

One of my favorite reasons to see winter end is watching all the birds that have migrated south begin to return as the days get warmer, The Ruby throated hummingbirds usually arrive back in Wisconsin during the first week of May and if I have not yet hung the feeder out in the usual place, they hover, as if looking in the widow, until they are noticed.
