Hello my dear friends of this beautiful community. I am very happy to be here after and see your beautiful works. For a month without making a publication, I have been working on a project, which is a cargo pants for my daughter Rut.
The fashion comes and goes, with a few adjustments for the moment, but there is always the rug. One afternoon we went shopping, she showed me a fabric and told me she wanted a pair of cargo pants. Making this fashion I had a lot of difficulties, I started working with my Singer machine. While I was enjoying zigzagging all around the edge of the fabric and sewing some thick parts I suddenly realized that this little friend and work tool did not want to sew.
For several days I checked it thinking that it could be that it was out of time, however it was not, it turned out that the needle bar moved, that's why I could not catch the time. I had no choice but to put it away and take out my joker, my black machine, I started sewing with it for several days until “Blummm” the only needle I had broke, so I went back to my project until I had some money to continue sewing. After a few days, thank God I got some money and bought a package of needles, because I could not be unprepared. When I started to do my work again, while I was taking my pictures I tripped over a chair, fell on the floor, my phone fell out of my hands, hit against an iron breaking the screen completely, I felt so demoralized, one of my work tools had been left in zero, so I was back to stand by. Suddenly I remembered that I had some money saved in my wallet, I decided to change 25 HBD, with that I took out my new phone. When I had it in my hands I felt so happy because I would achieve the challenge of finishing the pants for my daughter.
Hola mis queridos amigos de esta bella comunidad. Estoy muy feliz de estar aquí después y ver sus hermosos trabajos. Durante un mes si hacer una publicación, he estado trabajando en un proyecto, el cual es un pantalón cargo para mi hija Rut.
La moda va y viene, con algunos arreglos para el momento, pero siempre esta el tapete. Una tarde salimos de shopping, me mostro una tela y me dijo que quería un pantalón cargo. Realizando esta moda tuve muchas dificultades, comencé trabajando con mi maquina Singer. Mientras me deleitaba haciendo el zigzag por todo el borde de la tela y coser algunas partes gruesas de pronto me di cuenta que esa pequeña amiga y herramienta de trabajo no quería coser.
Por varios días la revise pensando que podía ser que se le fue el tiempo, sin embargo no fue así, resulto ser que la barra de aguja se le movió, por eso no le podía agarrar el tiempo. No me quedo otra opción que guardarla y sacar mi comodín mi maquina negra, comencé a coser con ella por varios días hasta que "Blummm" se me partió la única aguja que tenia, así que volví a para mi proyecto hasta que tuviera algo de dinero para seguir cosiendo. Pasado los días gracias a Dios conseguí dinero y compre un paquete de agujas, ya que no podía estar desprevenida. ya cuando comienzo hacer de nuevo mi trabajo, mientras tomaba mis fotos me tropecé con una silla, caí en el piso, mi teléfono se salió de mis manos, se golpeo contra un hierro rompiéndose por completo la pantalla, me sentí tan desmoralizada, una de mis herramientas de trabajo había quedado en cero, así que volví a quedar en stand by. De repente me acorde que tenia un dinero ahorrado en mi billetera, decidí cambiar 25 HBD, con eso saque mi nuevo teléfono. Cuando lo tuve en mis manos sentí tanta alegría porque lograría el desafío de terminar el pantalón para mi hija

Paso a paso
I started by placing the measurements on paper to then draw the silhouette. From there I folded the fabric and proceeded to cut, cutting out the front pockets.
Comencé colocando la medidas en papel par luego sacar la silueta. De allí doble la tela y procedí a cortar, sacando el corte de los bolsillos delanteros.
From there I proceeded to sew the pocket reinforcement, sewing it by hand.
De allí procedí a cotar el refuerzo del bolsillo, cosi a mano
After hand stitching the pocket gusset, pass stitching, then fold the fabric inward and pass a gusset seam.
Después de coser a mano el refuerzo del bolsillo, pase costura, luego doble hacia adentro la tela y pase una costura de refuerzo.
I cut two pieces of fabric, one 6 cm wide by 15 cm long and the other 3 cm wide by 15 cm long. I folded the 6 cm wide one and zigzagged it all around the edge except for the double side and zigzagged the 3 cm wide one all around the edge.
Corte dos trozos de tela uno de 6 cm de ancho por 15cm de largo y otro de 3 cm de ancho por 15 de largo. El de 6 cm de ancho lo doble y le pase zigzag por todo el borde menos por la parte del dobles y el de 3cm de ancho le hice zigzag por todo el borde.
This was the stage where my Singer machine was damaged, I thought I was going to die, until I magically visualized my black machine. I then proceeded to glue the fly to the backing fabric that I folded. I then stitched all the way around the edge of the pants and made a pin setting to sew the other part of the fly.
Esta fue la etapa donde mi maquina Singer se me daño, pensé que se iba la vida, hasta que mágicamente visualice mi maquina negrita. Entonces procedí a pegar la bragueta a la tela soporte que doble. Luego pase costura por todo el borde del pantalón e hice un ajuste con alfileres para coser la otra parte de la bragueta.
Once I made the adjustments I proceeded to sew the seam, giving shape to the zipper. Afterwards I sewed the draught part.
Una vez que hice los ajustes procedí a pasar costura dándole forma al cierre. Posteriormente cosi la parte del tiro.
I folded each back part in half, marked 1.5 cm wide by 12 cm long, and sewed the clip there. I cut a piece of fabric 20cm x 20cm, folded it 3cm, sewed and shaped the pocket, glued the pocket to the pants and sewed it.
Cada parte trasera la doble a la mitad, marque 1,c cm de ancho por 12 de largo, allí cosi la pinza. Corte un pedazo de tela de 20cm x 20 cm, le hice un doblez de 3cm pase costura y le di forma al bolsillo, pegue el bolsillo al pantalón y pase costura.
After this procedure I closed the back seam and sewed a reinforcement seam.
Después de este procedimiento cerré costura el parte de atrás y pase una costura de refuerzo.
For the elaboration of the cargo pocket, cut four pieces of fabric, which measure 2 of 15cm x 15cm and 2 of 20cm x 20cm. The covers measure 2 of 15cm wide by 5cm wide and the others 20cm long x 5cm wide. Then cut 5cm wide strips that I glued to the edge of the square.
Para la elaboración de bolsillo cargo corte cuatro pedazos de tela. los cuales median 2 de 15cm x 15cm y 2 de 20cm x 20cm. Las tapas miden 2 de 15cm de ancho por 5cm de ancho y las otras 20cm de largo x 5cm de ancho. Luego corte unas tiras de 5cm de ancho que pegue al borde del cuadrado.
Each cover I glued them to each other, sewed and stitched again.
Cada tapa las pegue unas con otras, cosi y repise costura.
Re-tack the pocket seam, glue the pocket to the pants and re-tack the ends.
Repise costura del bolsillo, pegue el bolsillo al pantalón y repise en las puntas
From there I took a measurement of 2.5cm high, sewed the pocket cover and then repaired the seam allowance.
De alli tome una medida de 2.5cm de alto, cosi tapa de bolsillo y luego repise costura.
Finally I glued the waistband, this was a crucial moment, as the presser foot was moving and therefore the seam was misaligned.
Finalmente pegue la pretina, este fue un momento crucial, ya que el prénsatela se movía y por ende la costura quedaba desalineada.
In spite of the endless inconveniences I had to finish this work. I thank God for all the blessings I received. It was a difficult experience, but at the same time it comforts me to see my daughter so beautiful and happy to have her cargo pants.
A pesar del sin fin de inconvenientes que tuve para culminar este trabajo. Le doy gracias a Dios por todas las bendiciones recibidas. Fue una experiencia un poco difícil, pero a la vez me reconforta ver a mi hija tan linda y feliz de tener su pantalón cargo.
