Greetings to all my dear artisan friends of this beautiful community. I hope you are well and that your work reflects the love for what you do. I am happy to be here again with you sharing a little of what I do.
I tell you that every Saturday I work at the church with my husband and my youngest daughter in a sale called the vegetable fair. We get up very early, if possible before the sun rises. Between my husband, my daughter and I set up the awning, set up the tables. Then we wait for the merchandise to be brought to us, among fruits like lechosas, guavas, pineapples, lemons, Chinese tamarind, tamarind, cambur. Vegetables such as onions, tomatoes, garlic, chili peppers, eggplants, condiments and vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, ocumo, yucca, chaco and what can never be missing in the kitchen, aromatic herbs.

Les cuento que cada sábado trabajo en la iglesia junto a mi esposo y mi hija menor en una venta la cual se llama Feria de hortalizas. Nos levantamos muy temprano, si es posible antes de que salga el sol. Entre mi esposo, mi hija y yo armamos el awning, colocamos las mesas. Luego esperamos que nos traigan la mercancía, entre frutas como lechosas, guayabas, piñas, limón, tamarindo chino, tamarindo, cambur. Hortalizas como cebollas, tomate, ajos, ajíes, berenjenas, condimentos y verduras como papa, zanahoria, auyama, ocumo, yuca, chaco y lo que nunca puede faltar en la cocina hierbas aromáticas.
Many people from the community, as well as church members, go there to buy. Some say that we sell at low prices and in solidarity, that our products are fresh, that is, almost fresh out of the ground. However, there are customers who do not have enough money at the time of purchase. So, those people who are always with us, we set aside a credit policy for them, which consists in that they take the product they need and then pay for it according to the payment method where they work, next week, every fifteen days or monthly.
For these special customers, use an account notebook where on each sheet goes the name of the person. There you put the amount the person took and the date next to it, something similar to a two-column accounting notebook. When I did that, I thought the technique was wonderful, I said wow I'm making my life easy.
In spite of this, when the zero hour arrived, that is, eleven o'clock in the morning, which is the time when the ladies go out to buy what they are going to cook for lunch, everything piled up between the people who came to buy with debit cards to pay at the point of sale, others in cash and those who came for credit. Between looking for the name in the notebook to write down the credit of the day and adding up the debt I became an eight and so on, for a moment everything collapsed, but in the end I knew how to take control of everything. So I had to find a way to organize the account notebook.
Allí va a comprar mucha gente tanto de la comunidad, como hermanos de la iglesia. Algunos dicen que vendemos a precios bajo y solidarios, que nuestros productos son fresco, es decir casi recién sacados de la tierra. Sin embargo existen clientes que para el momento de la compra o tienen el dinero suficiente. Así que, esas personas que siempre están con nosotros les apartáramos una política de crédito, la cual consiste en que se llevando el producto que necesitan y luego lo pagan según el modo de pago donde ellos trabajan, la semana entrante, cada quince días o mensual.
Para estos cliente especiales, utilice un cuaderno de cuenta donde en cada hoja va el nombre de la persona. Allí se coloca el monto que agarro la persona y la fecha al lado, algo similar a un cuaderno de contabilidad de dos columnas. Cuando hice eso, la técnica me pareció maravilloso, dije guao me estoy haciendo la vida fácil.
A pesar de ello, cuando llego la hora cero, o sea las once de la mañana, la cual es la hora que las señoras salen a comprar lo que van a cocinar para el almuerzo, se me acumulo todo entre las personas que venían a comprar con tarjetas de debito para pagar por el punto de venta, otros en efectivo y los que venían por el crédito. Entre buscar el nombre en la libreta para anotar el crédito del dia y sumar la deuda me volví un ocho un etcétera, por un momento todo se me colapso, pero al final supe tomar el control de todo. Así que tuve la buscar la manera de organizar el cuaderno de cuentas.

Paso a Paso
I started by making some lines, which were 1 cm wide. Then I made columns of 5cm wide.
Comencé haciendo unas líneas, la cual tenían una separación de 1 cm de ancho. Luego hice unas columnas de 5cm de ancho.
After I had done all the lining, I proceeded to cut each column. Then I started to put glue and placed it behind each sheet. Once it was dry I wrote with pencil the initial of each name.
Después de haber hecho todo el rayado, procedí a cortar cada columna. después empecé a colocar pega y colocándola detrás de cada hoja. Una vez que se seco le escribí con lapicero la inicial de cada nombre.
I feel satisfied that I have organized the account book and I know that at zero hour I will be able to work with more agility.
Me siento satisfecha de haber organizado el cuaderno de cuentas y se que en el momento de la hora cero trabajare con mas agilidad.
