Everything began with a sketch, where I focused on Male Ocean Healer’s pose, outfit, and expression. I wanted him to look contemplative yet strong, as if gazing at the horizon, lost in thought.
Once the sketch felt right, I moved on to the lineart, carefully refining each stroke to define the details of his armor, clothing, and hair. The lines needed to feel both sharp and fluid, mirroring the grace of water and the precision of a warrior.
The coloring stage was where he truly came to life. I chose cool shades of blue and teal, balanced by the warmth of sunset tones to create contrast. His hair, eyes, and outfit needed to reflect the ocean’s essence while maintaining an ethereal glow.
Next, I added shading to enhance depth, using soft gradients on his skin and clothing, while stronger shadows emphasized the folds of the fabric and the metallic sheen of his katana’s hilt.
For highlights, I focused on light reflections on his hair, armor, and ocean waves, making the image feel vibrant and full of movement. The goal was to give it a dreamy yet dynamic quality.
Finally, I worked on the background, blending warm golden hues with the cool blues of the ocean. The sun’s reflection on the water adds a magical touch, reinforcing the peaceful yet powerful presence of Male Ocean Healer.
Todo comenzó con un boceto, donde me enfoqué en la pose, el atuendo y la expresión de Male Ocean Healer. Quería que se viera contemplativo pero fuerte, como si mirara el horizonte, perdido en sus pensamientos.
Una vez que el boceto estuvo listo, pasé al delineado, afinando cada trazo para definir los detalles de su armadura, ropa y cabello. Las líneas debían sentirse tanto afiladas como fluidas, reflejando la gracia del agua y la precisión de un guerrero.
La etapa del color fue donde realmente cobró vida. Elegí tonos fríos de azul y verde, equilibrados con los cálidos tonos del atardecer para crear contraste. Su cabello, ojos y atuendo debían reflejar la esencia del océano con un brillo etéreo.
Luego agregué sombras para aportar profundidad, usando degradados suaves en la piel y la ropa, mientras que sombras más marcadas resaltaban los pliegues de la tela y el brillo metálico del mango de su katana.
Para los brillos, me centré en los reflejos de luz en su cabello, armadura y las olas del océano, haciendo que la imagen se sintiera vibrante y llena de movimiento. Quería darle un aire tanto onírico como dinámico.
Finalmente, trabajé en el fondo, fusionando tonos dorados con los fríos azules del océano. El reflejo del sol sobre el agua añade un toque mágico, reforzando la presencia pacífica pero poderosa de Male Ocean Healer.
