Had a conversation the other night with another hiver who went something like "why do you call out project's for doing something "bad" when you're doing so much self-voting yourself?" which, you know, annoys me a bit. Not just that it's not technically true but to think I'd be that dumb that I'd get myself in the attention of others who will most definitely try and turn every stone to find dirt on you when you try and break up their voteselling/trading/etc. Their go-to was the automated poshtoken posts and comments that we've had to rely on lately to generate some liquidity for our redditposh activity so I figured I'd make a post addressing what's going on there and at the same time provide some stats of how things have gone so far.

So after postponing this for quite a while now I decided to take a look at the @eds-vote project's voting pattern. Disappointedly it seems to be quite automated based on certain delegation tiers and token holdings and the project only voting for accounts that hold its token/miners or delegate to it.

With @peakd adding a nice little Zing icon to the payout symbol recently (if a post sends beneficiary amount over 50% to @zing.fund or @zingtoken - and same for @sps.dao as can be seen here @splinterlands), I'm coming back with a post talking about some zing stuff we've been doing lately and thought it'd be a good time to give people a little bit of an overview as to what to expect with our upcoming Beta launch.

I've asked one of our amazing front-end devs for a nice indication when posts are forfeiting part of the rewards towards the funding of our game. Mostly just so people may be aware why some of my daily posts may be utter shitposts where I'm forfeiting part if not all of the rewards towards a project. As I know not many are aware of beneficiaries or miss checking on them and it's a bit tiring having to constantly mention it.

I made a post some time ago looking at OCD's numbers, the numbers were fetched by @hivetrending using things like the beneficiary settings and ocd's account creation tokens to validate them. TL;DR, we had roughly 15% retention rate throughout 4 years onboarding roughly 3000 accounts with 450 still being active within the last month.
