Leading Nigeria forward.

Talking about what we wanted to become in the future was one of the best parts of childhood. I, in particular, used to be eager about that profession I have always wished to become and would not hesitate to speak about it once asked.
Just like I do looking at my students today talking about their future, I am sure our teachers back then knew that becoming what we wanted wouldn't be easy, but they never discouraged us. They made us believe that we can become whatever, but they didn't tell us that becoming a president isn't child's play.
It's a war that has silently claimed numerous lives, and anyone who isn't ready to dine with the devil shouldn't even think about it. Becoming the president of this great country has never crossed my mind because I do not see a female taking up that seat anytime soon.
Moreover, my parents hate politics, so they don't welcome the idea of their kids going into it, but for the sake of the prompt, I can imagine myself as the first female president of Nigeria.
"Did I hear someone just say, They play? I will let that slide so people don't say I am abusing my powers. I don't want to walk on the path of our previous leaders.
Nigeria has a lot of problems, but the good thing is there are solutions, because it would have been terrible if there were no solutions to all these problems the country is struggling with.
Controlling the upward inflation trend is my first assignment in office because that has contributed to our major problem. I know there are no jobs, but those who have jobs can't even live comfortably because of inflation. Providing jobs immediately after I attain power won't solve problems; people will have jobs, but their salaries won't be enough for anything. But tackling inflation will make things easier for many people.
I boarded a bike one day, and the rider during a conversation told me that he is a welder, but he can't depend on his handiwork anymore because what he is making there can't pay all his bills. With inflation tackled, someone like that wouldn't have to shuffle between work, putting his health at risk from stress.
To take care of inflation, I will invest in agriculture, help a lot of entrepreneurs, and impose a price control in the country. Doing that means there will be surplus food, our entrepreneurs can be effective, so importing or depending on other countries for things will reduce, and finally, the price control will help us regulate prices so business owners won't be ripping off the citizens.

Another vital issue is how insecurity has contributed to the crippled economy. Investors are scared to establish something here because of what they see and read about Nigeria.
My government will see to curbing insecurity in the country; terrorism will be tackled while the corrupt officers in the system will be flushed out.
These two things, first, can help us as a country, and I don't know why our government can't do anything about them even in the space of two years. It's even worse to punish people who point out their incompetence.
Hopefully, Nigeria will be great again someday.
