Warm greetings Vegans and happy weekend.

Welcome once again to my blog. I am thrilled to share with you this homemade tasty cookies recipe. My children and I were craving for cookies. They like to watch me I prepare homemade recipes when they are at home . So today, they are so eager to watch me prepare this vegan cookies. They asked me, "mom are you sure this experiment will come out so nice?" š I assuredly told them not to panic until I finish, they will be the one to confirm if is nice.
After cooking, the result was so amazing, my husband teased us that if this is how vegan cookies are, he would like to eat them everyday. ššš.
INGREDIENTS:
2 Cups oat
4 young ripe bananas, mashed
1 tablespoon date syrup
2 tablespoon Shea butter, melted (Optional)
4 tablespoon roasted peanuts (optional)
½ teaspoon vanilla flavour
½ teaspoon grated nutmeg
Salt to taste
RECIPE
- Firstly, Mash the bananas till it turns to a Non-Newtonian ( semi liquid ) fluid and mix it with the oats, Shea butter, date syrup, nutmeg, vanilla powder and salt in a pan.
- Then Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, till mixture forms dough.
- Shape into cookies using your palm to mold and press the dough flat then add your peanuts in the center of the dough and fold the dough to cover the peanut .
- Cook on pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes after that flip under side and cook it for another 2-3 minutes. Leave it to cool for some minutes.
It is super nice my children attested to that, it tastes so good than the store bought cookies they have tasted. This an amazing experience making vegan cookies with my beautiful children.
